A new update of the Evernote app for Android has been released today. The update brings a host of new features, improvements and various bug fixes and overall performance upgrades. It now comes with support for OfficeSuite, which can be integrated in to Evernote for Android, allowing users to view as well as edit attached OfficeSuite documents straight from the Evernote app. This integration will definitely unify the workload for users who use both of these services.

Apart from this integration, the update also brings ability to add new reminders straight from the reminders list. Evernote’s widget has also been redesigned with new list view and a button that can be used to quickly add reminders. Furthermore, the Evernote widget now has lockscreen support for devices that run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean or higher. Numerous performance and stability improvements are also onboard this update. The new Evernote app for Android is live now and available for download from Google Play Store. The app itself is free, though it offers a host of premium features which can be unlocked by paying a small fee.
