miixThe Lenovo Miix was a Windows 8-powered tablet that was announced a couple of months ago, and we are proud to bring you word that this particular tablet is ready to rock and roll in the US, never mind that Microsoft looks set to launch Windows 8.1 on an official basis later this year. The Lenovo Miix will come with an Intel Atom Z2760 1.8GHz processor, where it will be accompanied by a 10.1” display (which is touchscreen capable, of course) alongside 1,366 x 768 resolution, 2GB RAM, 64GB of internal memory, a 1-megapixel camera (How disappointing! Surely it would not have cost them much more to include something of a higher resolution), all crammed into a chassis that tips the scales at just 1.28 pounds.

At least the camera does more than capture selfies, as it will work in tandem with a special software that enables one to move their hands in order to flip through webpages, or how about using gestures to control the volume level on the Lenovo Miix? The entry level price of the Lenovo Miix stands at $599, although there is an option to pick up a keyboard which can be attached to the Miix, doubling up as a tablet stand, too. Pricing for the latter accessory remains to be seen. [Product Page]
