According to the rumors, Sony will apparently have a bunch of new products that they will be announcing this year, which includes the rumored Sony NEX-5T, the Sony Honami, “lens cameras”, a full-frame NEX camera, action cameras, and of course several new lenses as well. The folks at Sony Alpha Rumors have managed to get some rough time frames for Sony’s upcoming products and based on their information, late August is when we can expect the Sony NEX-5T to be announced, which contradicts earlier rumors that pointed towards a mid-August announcement.
Come 4th of September, Sony is also rumored to announce the Sony Honami alongside two new lens camera gadgets, which for those unfamiliar, are lenses that can be attached to smartphones that will help enhance the phone’s photography abilities. Next up in late September, Sony is rumored to announce their full-frame NEX camera which has been rumored about for a while now. While the dates are merely rumors at this point in time, the 4th of September date is somewhat believable as it is a few days before IFA, and we wouldn’t be surprised if Sony took the opportunity to announce something then.
Either way we still suggest you take this with a grain of salt for now, but if you’re a huge Sony fan, those are some date you’ll want to mark on your calendar.
