gs-grand2-skSamsung did announce the Galaxy Grand 2 smartphone near the end of last year, and just last month, we have also heard rumblings of a Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 LTE edition that is in the pipeline. Well, it seems that the Galaxy Grand 2 has finally hit the market over in South Korea, where it will be made available across all three carriers that will deliver a large screen experience without breaking the bank.

Here is a quick refresher on what the Galaxy Grand 2 would pack right out of the box. Most eyeballs would be impressed with the 5.25” 1280×720 HD TFT display, where it will also get a bump up to a quad-core chipset that has been clocked at 1.2GHz compared to its predecessor, accompanied by 1.5GB RAM, an 8MP camera at the back, a 1.9MP front-facing camera, 8GB of internal memory alongside a microSD memory card slot. Other connectivity options found on the Galaxy Grand 2 include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS, in addition to dual SIM support. Ah yes, LTE-A has also been thrown into the mix to keep up with the times. Expect Android 4.3 Jelly Bean to be the mobile operating system of choice, and it ought to arrive in black and white color options (whatever happened to the possible shade of pink?) alongside a faux leather back. The asking price for an unlocked device? $480 thereabouts.
