blizzard gamesWhile Blizzard might have burst onto the mainstream with franchises like the original Warcraft, Diablo, and StarCraft, the company had made several games prior to that, although safe to say they aren’t as popular compared to their newer franchises. However if you’d like to see what kind of games Blizzard got up to back in the day, you’re in luck as Blizzard has made three of their classic titles free for download.

These titles include Rock ‘n’ Roll Racing, The Lost Vikings, and Blackthorn. This was discovered when Blizzard quietly added the trio of games to Battle.net so if you were to log in to your Battle.net account, you should see those games listed under “Games & Codes”. Save for Blackthorn, the other two titles are for PC-only, so for Mac users you guys are out of luck.

We should note that these games are pretty old, with The Lost Vikings developed back in 1992 when Blizzard was previously known as Silicon & Synapse. This means that they don’t exactly have the best graphics but if you love retro games and 8-bit graphics and sound, or if you want to relive some nostalgia from back in the day, hit up Battl.net for your download!

It is unclear if these games are free permanently or if Blizzard is having some kind of promotion/giveaway at the moment, but if you have some time to spare and want to check out some classic Blizzard titles, you should probably do so soon.
