galaxy-s5-android-4.4.3

A couple of months after Google released Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for all supported devices, it rolled out an incremental update in the shape of Android 4.4.3. As always the first devices to receive said update were smartphones and tablets in Google’s own Nexus crop. Next in line are some of the best performing Android devices released this year. Samsung’s Galaxy S5 is certainly on that list and a new leaked document hints that the Galaxy S5 Android 4.4.3 release is going to take place in the coming weeks.

Android 4.4.3 isn’t a major update, as previously mentioned, its actually an incremental update. Don’t expect any new features however it does bring a plethora of bug fixes and stability improvements. On the stock version the phone dialler has been redesigned, but since Samsung’s TouchWiz UI gives its own look and feel to the dialler, users won’t see a change.

The leaked document indicates that final testing for the Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 4.4.3 update has been completed which means only the roll out is left. Which is presumably why its expected to hit devices later this month.

However the document also shows that the Android 4.4.3 update for Galaxy S4 is still in final testing. It may take a couple of weeks before its deemed good to go, which is why the estimated time of arrival for the update on Galaxy S4 is sometime next month.
