Gaming mice tend to be different from regular mice due to a variety of different factors. For example gaming mice might be more ergonomic because they expect gamers will be using them for prolonged periods of time. They have also been designed to be faster as gamers might require the speed in their games.
Well if you’re after a new gaming mouse, you might be interested to learn that Logitech has recently announced what they are calling the world’s fastest mouse in the form of the Logitech G402 Hyperion. How fast are we talking about? Well gamers can look forward to 500-inches per second thanks to its 32-bit onboard ARM processor.
The mouse will also come with sensors such as an accelerometer and a gyroscope, and will also sport low-friction feet which should allow it to glide smoothly across most surfaces. The G402 Hyperion will also come with eight programmable buttons where users can customize them to perform macros or certain computer commands.
Gamers will also be able to adjust the speed of the mouse from 240 DPI and go up to 4000 DPI. In terms of availability, Logitech expects the G402 Hyperion to go on sale in the US and Europe starting this August and will be priced at $59.99.
