oneplus-01If you’re a OnePlus One owner looking forward to getting your hands on Android 5.0 Lollipop, it seems that you won’t have wait much longer. A recent tweet by the company’s CEO revealed that they are planning a release of CyanogenMod 12S in March. He claims that this will be a more stable build that what was previously released.

We reported earlier this month that CyanogenMod 12S for the OnePlus One had entered testing and we guess it was not stable enough for the company to release it just yet. As one user points out, this basically puts them over the 3 month promised time frame, but we suppose better late than never, right? No one wants a buggy release after all!

In fact we have to say that the release of CyanogenMod 12S for the OnePlus One is pretty good news, especially given the debacle and falling out that both companies had with each other over in India where Cyanogen Inc. partnered up with Micromax, ultimately ditching OnePlus One owners in the region.

That being said OnePlus’ CEO also mentioned in the tweet that a stable build of OxygenOS, the company’s recently announced operating system, could also be seeing a release in March. No specific dates have been mentioned but we’ll keep our eyes peeled and update you guys accordingly.
