gear-managerIt looks like Samsung has decided to take a breather with its slew of Android 5.0 Lollipop updates by working on an update for the Samsung Gear Manager. All of that hard work has finally paid off, where the Samsung Gear Manager app – otherwise known as Samsung Gear, will see its version number bumped up all the way to 2.2.15011799. No changelog has been mentioned just yet, although chances are it will be able to handle whatever compatibility issues there are concerning Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Before this particular version, the app did not successfully reconnect to a paired watch automatically after losing connection, but after applying the update, everything seems to work fine and dandy without missing a beat, so you can be sure that there has been fixed made to the entire shebang. Apart from that, the app would now be able to start itself automatically after a phone reboot, which did not manage to happen on Android 5.0 Lollipop previously.

Those who are interested in the latest version of Samsung Gear Manager/Samsung Gear can download it from the Galaxy Apps store that is located right on your Samsung device. Do be patient since it might now show up at the moment, so leaving auto-update on might be a better idea.
