verizon-plan-pricing

Looks like there is some good news around the corner for Verizon subscribers. A report suggests that Verizon is going to trim the pricing of most of its More Everything plans tomorrow. Apart from a price cut the carrier may also introduced new data tiers for subscribers. So far the report hasn’t been denied by Verizon so its very likely that it might make an announcement tomorrow.

Droid-life cites a “reliable source” which claims that most of the plans will receive a price cut. Among the changes that Verizon is going to make is a $10 discount on almost all data options. The $25 Edge discount may start even lower going at only 6GB data.

The existing plans will receive a $10 trim which will bring down the 1GB data option to just $30 instead of $30. Under the new pricing the 4GB option will cost $60 instead of $70. This goes all the way up to the 20GB option which will be available for $140. Even the 2GB and 3GB plans receive this discount.

Customers may also be treated to more data tiers, 6GB, 8GB, 12GB, 14GB and 16GB, for $70, $85, $110, $120 and $130 respectively.

Verizon may also announce that the $25 Edge discount will now apply to subscribers who are on a 6GB or up plan. Previously to claim this discount, which is provided for hopping on Verizon Edge, subscribers had to be on a 10GB data plan or higher.

If the source is to be believed these plans will be in effect starting tomorrow.
