If you are old enough a gamer with the PlayStation platform, chances are you would have remembered the PlayStation Underground, as this name happened to be that of a video magazine as well as series of demo discs that Sony Computer Entertainment America rolled out in the late 1990s. It seems that there is life beyond the proverbial grave for PlayStation Underground, as it has now returned in a new format – that of an online show concerning video games.

Basically, it works this way – there will be a wee bit of gaming done, not to mention some talking going on, and all of it is done on a nice looking couch. To commemorate the return of PlayStation Underground, the good people over at Harmonix featured an early build of the upcoming music rhythm reboot known as Amplitude, where Expert mode certainly looked to be a killer, and it would be a sheer challenge for even the veteran gamer, this is for sure.

So far, the PlayStation Underground is touted to feature episodes every other week, where there will also be a vision to see a weekly broadcast eventually. Do expect to check out upcoming game previews in the months ahead, in addition to picking up insider details from those the gaming community. Certainly, this is a good week for PlayStation owners.
