Deus Ex: Mankind Divided from Square Enix was leaked earlier this morning as we reported, and it is not too long afterwards that the title has been officially revealed for the Sony PS4 platform. Jean-Francois Dugas, Executive Game Director at Eidos-Montréal, shared how it was 8 years back that the Deus Ex franchise was mulled to be revived, since it happened to be a very special game in the hearts of many. It is then nice for fans to know that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is now official, and you can check out the trailer above that will definitely be easy on the eyes in 1080p glory.

In Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, the game’s timeline happens to be the year 2029, which would be a couple of years after the events of Human Revolution as well as the infamous ‘Aug Incident’ in Panchaea. This signalled the end of the golden era of human augmentation, and in Mankind Divided, Adam Jensen would also end up as the main character.

Jensen is portrayed as a counter-terrorism agent who has no regard for rules – other than his own. I guess this is another scenario of the ends justifying the means, right? Would you be picking up this title? [Press Release]
