It was reported pretty early on that Samsung is going to release several new tablets in 2015. Recently a couple of upcoming tablets have been spotted and it appears that the company will be unveiling them in the near future. Yet another tablet has now been spotted in Geekbench and this one appears to be a powerhouse, though details are slim the information obtained from Geekbench shows that the tablet has a whopping 4GB of RAM.
No moniker or model number for this tablet is available but it does have CHOPIN-LTE has its codename. Geekbench also shows that it’s powered by an Intel Atom x5-Z8500 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM.
The Intel Atom x5-Z8500 is from the company’s new crop of processors built on the 14nm Cherry Trail platform with four cores clocked at 2.24GHz and accompanied by 8th generation Intel graphics.
Geekbench doesn’t reveal any other details about this tablet like its display size or pixel resolution, the only other piece of information available is that the CHOPIN-LTE runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, which one might expect from a high-end tablet that’s destined for release later this year.
More information about this unnamed tablet might appear in the future, we’ll keep our eyes and ears open.
