Earlier this year at CES 2015, Samsung introduced a rather interesting and somewhat novel washing machine dubbed the Activewash. For the most part, the washing machine acts like a washing machine, except that in this case it comes with a built-in sink on the top of the machine where users can soak their clothes or scrub out stubborn stains, and the good news is that it is now available for purchase.

If you’ve ever done your laundry, you know that sometimes certain clothes need to be soaked or scrubbed manually by hand before tossing it into the washing machine with the rest of the laundry. This meant getting a separate basin or taking it to the sink and doing it there. Now this isn’t a particularly huge inconvenience, but for those who don’t mind paying for convenience, this is where the Activewash shines.

Like we said the machine comes with a built-in sink on the top. There is a textured surface where you can scrub your clothes against and there is even a tap where water can be dispensed so that users can hand-wash certain items of clothing. It’s actually a pretty neat concept and if you’d like to get one for your home, it is priced at $899 for the 4.8-cubic foot washer, or $1,199 for the 5.2-cubic foot model and will be available from stores such as Best Buy.
