nubia my pragueAre thin smartphones the way to go? After all there are some who might prefer a thicker device as it makes it easier to hold, although we suppose there are also those who would much rather have a slimmer profile. Now if you’re after the latter, you might be interested to learn that ZTE has announced their thinnest smartphone to date.

Dubbed the ZTE Nubia My Prague, the handset was recently announced in Europe. To be more specific, it was announced in Prague and we’re not sure if that was intended or if it was a coincidence. Like we said, this is ZTE’s thinnest smartphone to date as it measures 147.8 x 72.1 x 5.5mm which is admittedly mighty thin.

In terms of specs, the ZTE Nubia My Prague isn’t exactly the most powerful handset, but it should be good enough to get the job done and then some. It will feature a 5.2-inch Full HD display and under the hood, it will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.

It will also feature an 8MP front-facing camera, a 13MP rear-facing camera, and will come with Android Lollipop on board. There is an alternate version with all the same specs, save for the RAM and storage which is 3GB and 32GB respectively. The ZTE Nubia My Prague appears to be an exclusive to the Czech Republic, but who knows, perhaps they might launch a variant with a different name for other markets in the future.
