Some of you guys might have a small table lamp by the side of your bed. Maybe you want to do some reading before you sleep, or maybe it’s just for convenience, who knows? However if you want a table lamp that will do more than just illuminate your book pages or help you find your way to the bathroom at night, Aerelight might have something for you.
The company has recently introduced its A1 table lamp. This is a table lamp that uses an OLED for illumination. It might seem like an odd choice as far as light are concerned, but at the same time it allows the company to build a table lamp that is incredibly thin and sleek. That and the fact that OLED produces a warmer light makes it easier to help you sleep.
At the base of the A1 lamp is a built-in wireless charger. According to the company, it will play nicely with either Qi or PMA devices, so if you’re worried about compatibility, don’t. The light also comes with touch controls in which users can adjust its brightness. Sounds pretty awesome, doesn’t it?
However it does not come cheap. The Aerelight A1 is priced at a whopping $299 but if you think its design and functionality is worth the price, why not? Alternatively if you’d rather not spend that much but would like the wireless charging function, IKEA might have some table lamps you could be interested in.
