apple logoApple rolled out their very first public beta of iOS 9.2 last week, making it available for those who had earlier signed up for its software beta testing program. Close to a week later (just half a dozen days in fact), here we are with the second public beta release from Apple today, and since this is an experimental iteration, you should not get your hopes up too high that it will be free from bugs or performance issues.

The iOS 9.2 Public Beta 2 will be made available via an Over The Air (OTA) update, and do bear in mind that it will only be released for devices that have already installed the first public beta. Should you happen to be part of Apple’s software beta testing program, then rest assured that the update notification is imminent if you have not yet received it

Just what will this new public beta deliver to the table? For starters, it will bring about an improvement to the Safari View Controller, which is dismissable via a single swipe now. The associated bugs where the iCloud Keychain and Apple Watch are concerned have been squashed as well, and there is also a brand new feature that delivers support for AT&T’s upcoming NumberSync service so that one can make as well as receive calls on or from any of your devices, all through an AT&T phone number.
