fb-feedFacebook has certainly made headlines today, having introduced a security checkup tool for Android, and now here we are with word that Facebook has improved its News Feed in order to have it work seamlessly and in a speedy manner – regardless of where you are in the world. After all, there are still many people who are rocking to a 2G connection, whereas many of us take LTE connectivity for granted, which is why Facebook intends to make their News Feed accessible and to operate well regardless of device or network connection.

Some of the changes made include depicting relevant stories in your News Feed whenever you are stuck with a slow connection, and you can also compose comments on posts even when you happen to be offline, now how cool is that? Facebook will also do the hard work of ranking relevant, already downloaded stories upon startup of the app, as well as when you navigate to News Feed from the app, or perhaps refresh the stories at the top of your feed by pulling it down, or while you perform a simple scroll through of your News Feed.

Basically, those with a poor internet connection will still be able to enjoy the News Feed experience as much as possible. [Press Release]
