Ever since the “Stagefright” exploit hit the Android mobile operating system, Google has done their bit to ensure that there are more regular Android updates to keep a lid on things as well as to minimize the chances of “Stagefright”-level events repeating itself. In fact, the more recent security patches happen to be integrated within the December security update. HTC has also done their bit to ensure that these fixes released by Google will be made available to their handsets as soon as possible, where they started to seed the update on the HTC One A9, as well as the One E9 and not forgetting the One E9+.
