Mortal Kombat X hasn’t really been in the news over the past few weeks but there’s a pretty good reason to be concerned about this title now as the next major DLC update is expected to be fully unveiled today. Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack 2 characters are likely to be unveiled at the Game Awards 2015 that kick off at 9 pm ET.

Fans loved the first Kombat Pack for this title as it brought back some favorite characters from the past and even introduced new third party characters like Jason Voorhees and Predator.

Now that it has been revealed that a second Kombat Pack is in the pipeline fans can look forward to new DLC characters that will arrive next year, as many as four new characters are expected to be added alongside skins and a new stage.

Aside from the release window not much has been confirmed though about this upcoming DLC pack, we’ll await formal details to emerge from Game Awards 2015 later today, and hopefully the new characters that are expected to arrive with Kombat Pack 2 will also be properly revealed.

A teaser has been released to keep fans hooked to the news coming out of Games Awards 2015, it teases new character reveal for Mortal Kombat X, and that’s really what’s going to capture the interest of fans across the globe.
