Fans of the Tomb Raider series finally got their hands on a new title last month. The launch trailer for this title was released back in October prior to its arrival on November 10th, it was only released for consoles though, PC gamers have had to wait since then for Rise of the Tomb Raider to be released for their preferred platform. If a new listing is to be believed then this title might be out for PC next month.

It’s not like PC gamers didn’t know that they would have to wait longer for the title to arrive on their platform, it had been confirmed back in July that Rise of the Tomb Raider would only be released on Windows 10 and Steam in early 2016. A January release fits that timeline quite nicely.

An Amazon listing has been spotted which mentions the release date as January 29th, not only is it more specific than “early 2016,” but it also shows that since the title didn’t really perform well on the Xbox One for which it was exclusively released the publisher is now counting on PC sales to improve the fortunes of this title.

Rise of the Tomb Raider will eventually be released for PlayStation 4 as well but not before the end of 2016 since Microsoft has exclusive console rights to this title for one year, PS4 owners can expect to get this game around the holidays next year.

There has been no confirmation as yet though whether Rise of the Tomb Raider really will be released for PC on January 29th, however Amazon listings have proven to be right in the past, so it could go either way.
