fallout-4-patch

Bethesda today announced the release of a new Fallout 4 patch that includes bug fixes for many of the issues that irked gamers. There are some PC-only features included in this patch like the new ambient occlusion setting HBAO+, however, this patch is primarily made up of important bug fixes. A full section of the patch notes is dedicated to quest fixes that version 1.3 brings, addressing many issues that prevented players from completing quests.

Fixes involving companions like Dogmeat and Preston Garvey are also onboard. The workshop gets tweaks as well and it now lets players see provided power as well as construct workbenches in their Diamond City house.

Gameplay fixes include general memory and stability improvements, enhanced performance when looking through a scope, the ability to use Stimpaks on Curie after the transformation while companions can no longer get stuck with radition poisoning.

MacReady’s Killshot perk now calculates headshot percentages properly, an issue with NPCs getting stuck in Power Armor has been fixed and so is a rare issue with companions getting stuck in down state.
