Just like how Rockstar is still milking all it can out of Grand Theft Auto V, it seems the same can be said about Bethesda and Skyrim. This is because it looks like we can look forward to a new Skyrim game, except that this time it’s a little more old school as it will be coming in the form of a board game.
This version of the game is being developed by Modiphius Entertainment, the same company behind Fallout: Wasteland Warfare. According to the announcement, “This new solo/cooperative (up to four players) game of adventure and exploration invites aspiring adventurers to return to the frost-covered lands of Skyrim.”
They also add, “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – The Adventure Game contains two major narrative-driven campaigns, each made up of three chapters. Each chapter can change depending on your choices, following your own quests in the main storyline or meeting up for key events and exploring dungeons together. Save your character’s progress at the end of a chapter, or even mid-game, and start again from where you left off the next time you play.”
The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim – The Adventure Game is expected to arrive in the summer of 2022, no specific dates mentioned, but gamers who are keen can actually pre-order it on Gamefound.
