Ubisoft knows that nostalgia has its fair share of fans, so to speak. After all, this is why we have seen retro fashion tastes come and go in a cyclical nature, and earlier today, Ubisoft did make an announcement as you can see above, that the original Rayman will be making a debut on two major mobile platforms this week – on iOS as well as Android. Just to recap, Rayman happens to be a side-scrolling platformer which was introduced more than two decades ago, so it will be interesting to see whether there will be people who would pick it up for the first time to see what their parents played back when they were younger.

This is not the first time that Rayman made the jump to the mobile landscape, with his first outing being a title known as Jungle Run that was introduced in 2012, before it was followed by Rayman: Fiesta Run one year down the road. This particular remake of the original Rayman game would make it the third Rayman title that Ubisoft has since launched on mobile devices. Would you be giving it a go?
