tesla-model3Tesla has been in the spotlight recently, where their Model 3 reservations have already crossed the 400,000 mark, which is extremely impressive to say the least – and if all of those reservations actually go through and end up as actual purchases, then it is certainly a cause to celebrate for Tesla where their bottomline is concerned. This time around, we have received word that Tesla will be offering its owners free trials of what it has envisioned for a self-driving future.

Yes sir, we are looking at the future of car upgrades that would allow you to try before you buy. Tesla’s semi-autonomous Autopilot mode does open up a way for you to peer into how the future of self-driving-cars are like, and if you happen to be a Model X or S owner and did not pick up this particular option when you purchased your ride, and are interested to give it a go, then Tesla is more than happy to provide you with a 30-day trial.

The owner of the corresponding ride will be able to obtain an over-the-air (OTA) update which will thrown in Autopilot for 30 days, and this offer was noticed by Reddit user kushari first, with a Tesla spokesperson having confirmed that said trial is available for all owners of supported vehicles.
