Snapchat can be used for a lot of things, like sending friends pictures of your food, or asking an opinion about your outfit, and so on. However it seems that Snapchat also has the potential to help people find love, as evidenced in the video above which seems like it could be a modern day fairytale in the making.
Basically what happened is that a girl from UW-Madison posted a video confession along with a photo of a guy wearing a Vikings jersey on Snapchat where it was featured in the campus Snapchat story. It seemed that she had a crush on her mystery man and was asking for help to try and track him down (creepy or romantic, we guess that’s up to you to decide).
The guy saw the Snap and they both started to share their respective locations with each other, with thousands of eyes on campus watching it all unfold. In fact Snapchat even helped to create a special geo tag called “Help Vikings fan find mystery girl”. This pretty much lasted all day where the girl finally ended up at a bar and waited for the guy to come find her, which she did.
We want to say that they lived happily ever after but obviously it is too early to tell, but good on them for finding each other! In the meantime you can check out the entire love story unfold in the video above if you have a few minutes to spare.
