digiworld-awards-2016If you are a French entrepreneur that is living and operating his/her startup outside of France, it seems that the DigiWorld Summit wants to recognize your achievements. The summit has recently announced that they will be hosting the second DigiWorld Awards that will be looking to recognize digital startups created by French entrepreneurs.

“At the 38th annual DigiWorld Summit, in partnership with Business France and French Tech, IDATE DigiWorld will be hosting the second annual DigiWorld Awards, recognising excellence in digital start-ups created by French entrepreneurs outside of France, in four categories: Africa and the Middle East – the Americas – Asia – Europe (outside of France).”

For those who are interested in taking part, you have until the 30th of September to apply, which you can do so via the DigiWorld Summit website. So you might be asking why would you bother applying for a chance to win? For starters, exposure. By applying for a chance to win, you will be able to bring more attention to your startup, and even if you don’t necessarily in any award, it’s still publicity.

However if you do win, your startup will be integrated into international startup programmes run by the likes of huge and well-known companies such as Accenture, Ericsson, Capgemini and Orange. Like we said, French entrepreneurs will have until the 30th of September to submit their application, so head on over to its website for the details.
