Netflix has been doing a good job of reviving some of the most popular TV shows that the networks gave up on after finishing their story. The online video giant recently confirmed that it was reviving Gilmore Girls and today it has released the new Gilmore Girls trailer. This is the first proper trailer for Netflix’s latest semi-original series, and rumors about the casting have turned out to be true as all of the characters from the original show have returned.

Not long after Netflix confirmed that it was bringing back Gilmore Girls, it was rumored that the entire cast would return for the revival on Netflix, and that’s precisely what appears to be the case.

The trailer shows us that Kelly Bishop is back as Emily Gilmore, Melissa McCarthy returns to play Sookie St. James, and Sean Gunn is back as Kirk. The trailer offers just a glimpse of where the story is headed.

It reveals that Emily is clearing out her house following the death of her husband Richard, played by the late Edward Herrmann in the original series. Rory is between jobs while Luke and Lorelai clearly have something going on.

Gilmore Girls has been revived as a four-part miniseries, all of the parts will be released on Netflix come November 25th.
