oneplus-3t-official-2The OnePlus 3T was officially announced last week, and if you like what you see, you’ll be pleased to learn that you will now be able to purchase the handset if you are living in North America. This was confirmed at the time of the announcement and for our readers in Europe, the phone will only be available a week later on the 28th of November.

The phone is priced at $439 which is more expensive than its predecessor, the OnePlus 3. We’re not sure why there is a price hike, but previously it was rumored that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset is more expensive than the Snapdragon 820, hence the increase in price.

As for its specs, for those who missed the announcement, the OnePlus 3T will feature pretty similar internals as the OnePlus 3. It sports a 5.5-inch Full HD Optic AMOLED display, 6GB of RAM, and will be available with up to 128GB of storage. The changes made to the phone are to its processor and also its battery which is bumped up to a 3,400mAh battery.

We are looking at a 16MP rear-facing camera, but the front-facing camera has also been similarly upgraded to a 16MP camera as well. If you’re wondering if these changes are so slight, why not get the OnePlus 3? Turns out that the OnePlus 3 will be discontinued in the US and Europe, so the OnePlus 3T is the only option available to you right now.
