It is safe to say that James Cameron’s Avatar screened in 3D was pretty much what kicked off the 3D movie craze in the recent years. Whether or not you enjoyed the movie’s story, acting, or directing, it’s hard to argue against the movie’s visuals which were spectacular, especially the bioluminescent forest of the Na’vi.

Now as you might have heard, there are plans to recreate the world of Pandora in Disney as one of its attractions, and in a recent video uploaded onto YouTube, Disney gives us a look at behind-the-scenes of how the world of Pandora was brought out of its film and made into a real-life attraction park.

The video also takes us through what its creators were thinking when they were designing it, and how they came up with the ideas and how to get everything to look like it does in the movie. There will also be several rides that visitors can take part in, such as the mountain banshees in which they’ll experience what it could be like to ride the real thing (if it existed).

All in all it looks like a pretty amazing attraction which is expected to open at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Orlando, Florida come summer 2017.
