Facebook has made a habit out of offering temporary features around holidays and such. Since it’s February and Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, the social network is spreading the love with Valentine’s Day cards. It’s going to display a special message starting February 13th wishing users a happy Valentine’s and prompting them to share one of its custom-made cards with their loved ones.

Facebook users will start seeing a message from the social network in their News Feeds starting February 13th. The message is going to wish them a happy Valentine’s and show them its custom cards that they can use to wish a loved one on Facebook.

The world’s largest social network says that these cards have been designed by a team of illustrators and artists in New York and London. Quite a lot of its users will like having the ability to use one of these custom cards to express their loved for a special someone.

Facebook also has the data to back up the assumption that people really do care about Valentine’s Day. It mentioned that the social network saw an increase of 25 percent in people getting engaged on Valentine’s Day compared to the year before that because that’s just what you do right after you get engaged, you update your relationship status on Facebook.
