There’s really no shortage of curved monitors on the market. We’ve seen several new models being launched this week from the likes of Samsung and Alienware in line with the other gaming-related announcements that have been made at E3 2017 in Los Angeles. Dell has thrown its hat in the ring as well by announcing its new 38 inch UltraSharp curved monitor.

Dell’s new UltraSharp 38 monitor, model number U3818DW, offers a WQHD 3440×1440 pixel resolution with a 21:9 aspect ratio. This provides users with tons of extra workspace compared to conventional monitors that have a 16:9 aspect ratio.

That’s not all. Dell’s new monitor also features dual 9 watt speakers. It takes its power from a single 100 watt USB Type-C cable. Unfortunately, Dell has withheld some crucial bits of information about this monitor.

It’s not known at this point in time what is the refresh rate or response time that this monitor offers. Dell is saying that this monitor will be a great choice for those who want to be more productive, but it’s not revealing those specs as yet.

What Dell has confirmed is that this isn’t going to be a cheap monitor. It’s going to sell the UltraSharp 38 for $1,499. It will be available for purchase directly from Dell come June 23rd.
