If you want to keep memories of a trip, you can easily create an album on Facebook and store all photos related to a particular trip or event there. You can add a description, tag users, and even add a location. However it seems that Facebook wants its users to do more than just that.

According to a report from TechCrunch, Facebook is making some changes to its albums where instead of just being a place to store and organize your photos and videos, users can now add posts to it too. This means that posts you make during your trip, such as status updates and check-ins, can be added there too so that you can remember what exactly happened on that day, or where that particular restaurant was, and so on.

According to Facebook who described the update to TechCrunch, “Gone on a surf trip recently? Share videos of you tacking your waves, your check-in at the pier, a photo of your board and more – in a single album.” In addition, Facebook will now allow users to follow the photo albums of their friends so that they’ll know when there is an update.

The updated albums should already be live for Android and web users, and the update for iOS will be coming soon.
