Last month the folks at HBO dropped the official trailer for the upcoming season 7 of Game of Thrones and boy did it look good. However for those who are hankering for more season 7 goodies, you’ll be pleased to learn that HBO has since released a second trailer, this time more action-packed than the last one.

The trailer does a pretty good job of getting viewers hyped up for the seventh and second-last season in the series, and its release could not come any sooner. Season 7 of Game of Thrones is currently slated for a release on the 7th of July. This is much later than what viewers have come to expect based on previous releases, but we guess better late than never, right?

It should also be noted that season 7 will have less episodes compared to the previous seasons, but if it helps to get us to the end faster in a more concise manner, that’s not a bad thing. After all no one likes it when a series is being dragged out too long for the sake of milking it for all it’s worth. Season 8 has also been confirmed to have less episodes, 6 to be exact, one less than season 7.

Season 8 is expected to be released next year, but recent reports have suggested that it could possibly be delayed to 2019, which we’re really hoping isn’t the case since many are probably looking forward to seeing how the series will conclude, more so given the fact that the series’ author George R.R. Martin has yet to conclude it himself.
