During E3 2017, it was confirmed that Ubisoft had a brand new game that would be pretty much exclusive to the Nintendo Switch, and that came in the form of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. This is basically a mashup of Nintendo’s Mario franchise and Ubisoft’s Rabbids franchise, which is something you don’t see everyday.

In terms of pricing, given that this is a full game we guess it was safe to assume that it would be priced at around the $60 mark. However that might not be the case as apparently the game could be getting a price cut ahead of its release. This is according to a report from Nintendo Soup who claims that their sources told them that the game would be reduced from $59.99 to $49.99.

This will be taking place before its launch which means that those who pre-ordered the game won’t have to place a new order or seek a refund. We’re not sure why there might even be a price drop considering the game has yet to be officially launched, not to mention since most full games are priced at $60, it’s not as if Nintendo or Ubisoft are being unreasonable about it.

In any case take it with a grain of salt but with the game set for a release on the 29th of August next month, we should be finding out the official pricing very soon.
