OnePlus customers have often had to wait for a considerable amount of time before the order that they’ve placed is actually dispatched. The company started off 2017 by saying that it was going to work hard to eliminate this problem and ensure that its devices are available for immediate dispatch, meaning that the units would ship merely hours after customers placed the order. It has been working towards that goal and has finally confirmed that the OnePlus with 8GB RAM in Midnight Black is now available for immediate dispatch.

This is the second variant of the company’s existing flagship smartphone to become available for immediate dispatch. The other variant, one that has 6GB of RAM, has been available immediately for quite some time now.

The OnePlus 5 features a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED display with a Snapdragon 835 processor under the hood. The device also features a 16 megapixel front camera and a dual camera system at the back with a 16 megapixel primary lens coupled with a 20 megapixel telephoto lens.

This particular variant features 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. OnePlus is selling it for $539 which is far lower than competing flagship smartphones.

This variant of the OnePlus 5 is now available for immediate dispatch to customers.
