The Top Gear trio landed on Amazon after their run at the BBC ended. They created a new car show for the company with an entirely different format called The Grand Tour. The first season was very well received and fans have since been waiting for the second one. It has been confirmed today when The Grand Tour season 2 is going to be released.
The concept behind The Grand Tour is that the team takes a giant tent to a new location in every episode and they build the show around that. It has proven to work well for them.
There was a bit of a hiatus in between as co-host Richard Hammond was involved in a very bad car crash. He did survive it, though, and fans will be happy to see him back in the driving seat once again.
This show is all about cars and there will be a lot of them in the second season. The trailer that has been released today shows stunning vistas and supercars, a combination that never fails to amaze.
The Grand Tour season 2 is going to be released on December 8th. It streams on Amazon Prime Video so you might want to renew your subscription if you haven’t already.
