For those who are living stateside and want to get their hands on the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, you’ll be pleased to learn that the handset is now available for pre-order. The best part is that for those who pre-order the phone, you guys will be given a $150 gift card which will be dependent on which retailer you buy the phone from.

Note that the phone is priced at $800 which is the full price of the handset and does not come tied to any particular carrier. What this means is that you will still need to get a line for the phone, unless you’re changing devices then you should be fine. In terms of carrier compatibility, the Mate 10 Pro will work on GSM/LTE networks, which means that those on Sprint or Verizon will be out of luck.

Huawei had initially planned to launch the phone on major US carriers, marking the carrier’s “official” entry into the US smartphone market. Verizon was one of the reported carrier partners along with AT&T, but apparently pressure from US lawmakers to cut ties with Huawei over alleged national security concerns due to Huawei’s relationship with the Chinese government has put a halt to those plans.

However the phones will still be available for purchase, just not through any US carrier. For those who are interested, the Mate 10 Pro will be available from Amazon, Best Buy, B&H, and Newegg.
