If you’d like to buy a more blinged out version of Razer’s first smartphone, then it has launched just the thing for you. The company has announced the launch of its “Limited Gold Edition” Razer Phone. There’s nothing different about the internals, it’s the same Razer Phone that has been out for months, but it has received a minor cosmetic change to justify that limited edition tag.

Razer has actually launched the Limited Gold Edition Razer Phone to celebrate the Lunar New Year. This particular version of the handset is now available for purchase and as the name suggests, it’s going to be available in limited quantities.

Even though it’s supposed to be a “Gold Edition,” it hasn’t been completely decked out in gold. Look closely at the photo above and you’ll notice that the Razer logo on the back is in gold. That’s the new gold you get with this handset apart from the red box, gold letter, and gold Razer stickers.

Razer Phone Limited Gold Edition is now available for purchase from the RazerStore for $699, that’s the same price that the company changes for the regular version of its handset. The Limited Gold Edition is being sold through mobile carrier Three’s stores in Hong Kong and the RazerStore Hong Kong.
