An “Infinity Display” is what Samsung calls its iteration of a bezel-less display. This marketing term was introduced with the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ last year and has been used for the Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S9 as well. The Galaxy A8+ and Galaxy A8+ (2018) are the first mid-range smartphones from the company to feature an Infinity Display, albeit a flat panel. It appears that Samsung is gradually going to bring its bezel-less display to more mid-range devices. According to a new report, the upcoming Galaxy A6+ (2018) will feature an Infinity Display as well.

Recent reports have suggested that Samsung has a new mid-range smartphone in the pipeline that’s likely going to be a part of its Galaxy A (2018) series. The Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+ (2018) are premium mid-range devices and if Samsung’s naming convention is anything to go by, the Galaxy A6+ (2018) will be more of a conventional mid-range device.

According to a new report, the Galaxy A6+ (2018) is going to be powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor with 4GB of RAM. It may also feature an Infinity Display but given that the more expensive models in this series have a flat Infinity Display, it’s highly likely that this device is going to get a flat panel as well.

The other specs of this handset are not known at this point in time but we’ll likely get to hear about them in the days to come. Samsung is yet to confirm when the Galaxy A6+ (2018) will arrive and how much it’s going to cost.
