Call of Duty fans willing to take the upcoming title for a spin will be delighted to know that Activision and Treyarch have confirmed that the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 beta tests will start from August 3rd. The very first beta tests for the game will kick off on that day at 1 PM Eastern. There will be two betas for the upcoming game.

The Private Multiplayer Beta will begin on August 3rd and it will be available to PlayStation 4 owners first. Gamers on the Xbox One and PC will get it the following week. The new Black Ops battle royale experience will come to life in September. Gamers will be able to try out the game’s Blackout mode first on the PlayStation 4 in September.

All those who participate in the beta will receive a unique, one-of-a-kind calling card which they can display proudly. Every player that hits max rank in the beta will then earn a Permanent Unlock Token which they can apply to any piece of Create-a-Class content when the game comes out.

Popular game modes such as Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Domination, and others will be included in the Private Multiplayer Beta. The new objective-based gameplay mode will be available as well, it’s meant to “bring out the best” of multiplayer gameplay in Black Ops 4.
