Similarly, you can utilize it to install (mobile) Instagram on PC and upload photos to Instagram from the PC’s storage.
Follow the steps below in order to install Instagram on PC.
- Download and install Bluestacks from their official website.
- After successfully installing, you need to launch it (it should automatically start loading up right after installation).
- You will be asked to sign in to your Google account to be able to use Bluestacks. You should do the same to continue accessing Bluestacks.
- After sign in, you will now probably observe the “App Center” screen. In case you are on the “My Apps” tab, head onto the “App Center” tab.
- You can notice the search bar at the right-corner of the Bluestacks window. Type in Instagram and hit search to proceed.
- You will find the Instagram app listed on the Google Play Store. Install it by accepting the permissions when asked. Finally, you will be greeted with the My Apps tab where you can see the Instagram app icon loading (technically installing).
- After it completes downloading, click on it to launch Instagram. Just as you do on the Instagram app for Android or iPhone, sign in or sign up and get started using it. You will get the upload option as well (as you do on your smartphone).

- Click on the plus button at the bottom of the screen while running Instagram.
- You will observe a gallery screen where you would have to click on the drop down list with “Gallery” on it as shown in the image above.
- After you click, you get an option – “Other.” Simply, click on it to find the screen orientation changed. If it is not viewable, you can maximize the window for a wider screen size.
- Now, click on the menu icon and then click on “Pick from Windows” as shown in the image below.
