In other words, the Xbox One version of Far Cry 4 will not render at native 1080p, but rather, has decided to fall back upon a 1440 x 1080 resolution that has then been upscaled to 1920 x 1080. This particular bit of information might be seen as an egg on Ubisoft’s face, especially after Ubisoft laid claim to the very real possibility of them working towards “1080p on all platforms”. For folks who happen to be rocking to the Sony PS4 version of Far Cry 4, fret not, this particular version of the game will render at native 1080p.
