DxOMark-Xperia-Z3-_2-640x381The Sony Xperia Z3+ is basically the Xperia Z4, except that the model will be destined for markets outside of Japan. Now given that the phone wasn’t really much of an upgrade over its predecessor, safe to say that not many are expecting too much from it.  However if you love your smartphone cameras, you might be interested to learn that the Xperia Z3+’s camera is actually pretty decent.

This is according to the folks at DxOMark who have ran the camera through some tests and put it through its paces and according to their findings, it seems that the Xperia Z3+ has the best camera amongst all of Sony’s Xperia lineup. In fact as you can see in the graph above, the Xperia Z3+ ranks behind the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and the Galaxy Note 4 in terms of overall camera quality. apple-watch-data-exchange-patentSending files to someone else is pretty straightforward. You can choose to send it via messenger apps such as WhatsApp where you can attach a photo or video. You can also choose to share it via cloud services like Dropbox, Google Drive, or attach it in an email and let the other person download it whenever they want.

However it seems that Apple is exploring the idea of allowing users to transfer data to one another through a simple process – a handshake. This is based on a recently discovered patent which suggests that this is a feature that could arrive on the Apple Watch in the future. alcatel-hero-cyan-710x414If you were looking forward to another smartphone launching with the Cyanogen ROM preinstalled on it, you might have been excited about Alcatel and Cyanogen’s partnership from earlier this year which saw the Hero 2+ smartphone announced. However it looks like despite the excitement and promise surrounding the handset, both companies have decided to pull the plug.

According to a statement released by both companies, “Alcatel OneTouch and Cyanogen, Inc. have made a mutual decision to forgo the release of the Hero 2+. . . The bar was set high and unfortunately the device does not have a clear Android 5.1 upgrade path. The good news is that the fix is finally here as Apple has officially released the latest update to their OS X system. This will bring your OS X version to 10.10.4.

With the update, Apple has decided to remove the discoveryd tool which was used in previous versions of OS X 10. It was discovered earlier that discoveryd was the main cause behind OS X users experiencing WiFi issues on their computers, so by removing it and replacing it with the mDNSresponder tool, it should fix it once and for all, we hope.
