SoundRacer Makes Your Car Sound Sporty

What do you do when you want to feel like you’re driving a V10 powered supercar, but can’t afford one? Well, you could always go for the Soundracer, which fits right into your car’s cigarette lighter port, and uses an FM transmitter to play a real V8 or V10 engine sound effects to the stereo. According to SoundRacer’s website, the sounds actually correspond to the RPMs of your car’s engine, which is quite cool (technologically). Check out a video of it in action here.
Sagem Spiga Is Tiny

With all the netbooks nowadays hovering around the 10.1-inch display design, would you want something smaller? We’re not sure if Sagem is taking things to the extreme with its Spiga, but if you want something that will fit into your sling bag without any problems; the 4.8-inch Spiga will certainly fit the bill. It’s powered by a 1.1GHz Intel Atom processor, sports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and a webcam. It might seem a tad pricy at 499 Euros ($740) though. Check out a video of it in action here.
Palm Pre For Just $99.95 On Bell

It wasn’t too long ago that Bell dropped the asking price of the Palm Pre to CAD $149.95, but (probably thanks to the holiday season) the price has further plummeted to CAD $99.95, albeit with a 3-year contract, but who cares, right? Would you pick up the Palm Pre for that price, and accept the 3-year contract?
Nokia Booklet 3G Coming To Best Buy On Nov 15

If you’ve been dreaming about the day that Nokia’s Booklet 3G will be available in stores, we have good news for you in the form of an actual date! It seems that Best Buy will be offering the device from November 15th onwards, and you can go to the store now and place a pre-order. It should be going for $299.99 with a 2-year AT&T data contract for $599.99 for the device on its own. Are you planning to get one of these?
Apple Breaks Atom Compatibility Again?

Does Apple like playing cat-and-mouse with various parties? Well, if the iTunes and Palm Pre issue is anything to go buy, Apple might get a little satisfaction out of it. You might have read the recent news of the latest OSX builds working (or not working) on Intel’s Atom processors. After it seems that everything was OK in hackintosh-land, latest reports seem to indicate that OSX doesn’t jive with the Atom again. Check out the video.

Samsung Behold II Getting Closer

For those of you looking forward to Samsung’s Android-powered Behold II, it seems that the phone shouldn’t be too far off. While T-Mobile USA hasn’t explicitly stated when the phone will be released, but word on the streets is that the phone has been scheduled to be ready on November 18th, which is just 2 weeks away. Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you updated on this.
Nokia X6 To Launch On Nov 16th Globally

While Expansys gave everybody the impression that Nokia’s sleek looking X6 would be available on the UK on November 12th, the latest fews from Nokia Conversations blog states that the Nokia X6 will be available globally on November 16th, coinciding with Rihanna’s live concert, which will be streamed online at Nokia.com. It looks like we’ll just have to wait another week or so. Patience is the key here.

RadioShack To Offer The iPhone 3GS

It looks like Apple’s iPhone has taken another small step towards nationwide domination of the mobile phone scene. Now RadioShack has officially announced that it will be carrying both the iPhone 3G and 3GS in selected stores in Dallas-Fort Worth and New York City by the end of this month. You can expect to see the phones available nationwide in 2010, which isn’t all that far off. Will this make a difference to whether you’ll be getting an iPhone or not? iPod Cluster Display

Do you happen to have a lot of spare iPhone or iPod touch units lying around doing nothing? Well, if that’s the situation for you, you could always try and do what Japan’s PROTOTYPE design team have done, come up with the iPod Cluster Media, which is a proof of concept design that joins multiple iPod touch units together to act as one giant display. There’s also a remote-control iPod that you can use to control the display of the devices. Anyways, enough talk. Check out the video in action here and see for yourself!
MOTO Klassic Hitting Korea

With all the hype surrounding Motorola’s Droid handset, it’s good to see that Motorola looks like it’s making a comeback in the cell phone scene. That being said, not everybody can afford the Droid, so Motorola has come up with the MOTO Klassic, which is currently only available in Korea. Specs are pretty average, with 2G connectivity, 5-megapixel camera, and an external touch screen. Would you be interested in this phone if it manages to make its way to the US?
Apple Urges You To Update Apple TV To 3.0.1

Those of you who have been running Apple TV with the 3.0 firmware might have encountered a problem where the unit would unexpectedly ditch all the content that was loaded into the device until a resync was performed. Well, it seems that Apple has noticed this rather quickly and issued a 3.0.1 firmware update, which they’re strongly recommending you to update to. Check out the official details here.
Wash Your Clothes By Pedaling Your Bike

Ever wanted to save some electricity when washing your clothes? Well, if you’re into convergent devices, you could always try and build that Dave Askins has done here. This homemade system allows you to ride your bike, and wash your clothes are the same time. The bonus is that it can also spin your clothes dry, and Dave has also hooked up an electric generator to the machine, so he can watch a show or two while he’s “doing his laundry”. Not too bad eh?
