rockband-4-ps4-xbox-oneGames like Guitar Hero and Rock Band are fun to play at parties. It’s also fun to jam out individual songs which can be just as satisfying, but at the same time it is understandable that there are gamers out there who would love a good campaign/story with every game that they play.

The good news is that if you were a bit tired of Rock Band’s somewhat linear campaign in the past, you will be pleased to learn that in Rock Band 4, the folks at Harmonix have revealed some additional details about the game’s upcoming campaign which has been described as somewhat like an RPG. mortal kombat xAs it stands, gamers on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the PC are enjoying Mortal Kombat X. However as you might recall a couple of months ago, we reported that the PS3 and Xbox 360 version of the game had been delayed to the summer of 2015 which should be pretty soon, but it looks like it could have been delayed again.

This is according to a recent listing on GameStop (via GameRant) which had previously pegged the game for a release on the 2nd of June. However based on the new listing, it seems that the game has now been listed for a release on the 31st of December. While we doubt the 31st of December date is real, chances are it is a placeholder but it does seem to hint at a potential delay. A couple of months ago we reported on a rather cool Bluetooth DJ accessory called the Mixfader. Basically this is a crossfader with Bluetooth technology that allows users to pair it with an iPhone or iPad, thus giving them physical controls in which they can mix their songs with. It was a pretty cool idea and the good news is that it has been launched on Kickstarter.

Prior to this there was no mention of its availability or pricing, but given that it is now on Kickstarter, successful funding should see it made a reality. There have been some changes made to the device from the original. It will now feature a metal build instead of a plastic one which should enhance its durability and add a bit of heft to it, making it more stable. Opera Max Wi-Fi Compression

We all remember Opera browser, as it was among the initial third party browsers for the smartphones. Opera is not just limited to the browser, the company also deals in data compression tool known as Opera Max. Today, it received a major update that allows data compression on Wi-Fi.

In simpler terms, the Opera Max (1.0.225) update will let the users connected on a public Wi-Fi fetch better browsing speed. Opera Max has amalgamated the working of Virtual Private Network (VPN) and data compression. So it goes like, the software diverts your internet traffic to Opera’s servers, and from there users receive a compressed version of data, which in turn boosts browsing speed and decreases data cost.

Also, we need to keep in mind that Opera Max is not compatible with the applications that use encrypted connections. It means that if you’re more hooked to apps like Facebook and most of your data is drawn to it, then Opera Max won’t come handy to you.

Opera Max is compatible with most of the browsers and also applications that fetch data through an encrypted connection. The new update has tweaked the working in a useful manner, now users will be allowed to manage their data as it provides an info about the data used by each app, so that users can figure out that which app takes in most of the data. As per the change-log on the Play Store, the update also brings in plenty of user-friendly changes in the user interface.

wow flyingA couple of days ago, Blizzard confirmed that Warlords of Draenor will continue to not feature flying in its zones. The developer even hinted that this line of thinking could be carried on over to future expansions as well, and safe to say that many players are very upset about it, so much so that many have taken to the official World of Warcraft forums to announce the cancellation of their subscriptions.

According to the thread, many players are angered that Blizzard will not include the feature in the current expansion. Some believe that this decision by Blizzard will lead to a mass exodus of players from the game, which last we checked dropped by as many as 3 million subscribers in the recent months. amtrakBy now many of you guys have probably heard of the recent Amtrak crash in which a train jumped its tracks on a corner where the speed limit was 50mph. However according to the investigation, the speed of the train was supposedly going at 106mph at that time and while black box technology should tell us the whole story, apparently it isn’t enough.

So much so that Amtrak has since announced that they will start installing video cameras inside of the train cab to help paint a better picture in the event of an accident. As it stands, there are cameras placed on the outside the train and there is also black box technology, but hopefully with cameras installed inside the cabs, it will be able to tell a better story to investigators as to what went wrong specifically, and if the driver could have been at fault.
