Tesla has rolled up their sleeves and are more than ready to kick off their battery swapping technology for the Model S electric vehicle. Basically, this particular “campaign”, if you can call it that, would allow users to swap out their battery instead of charging it whenever they are on the road – providing them with an option for a quick fill up which surprisingly, would take less amount of time as opposed to filling up a standard car with gas at the station. This pilot program will launch in Harris Ranch, California, where it is happening at a new facility that is located directly across the street from the Supercharger within the vicinity.
When it comes to the modern day smartphone, most of the time we would have to charge up our handset before we sleep at night, so that our smartphone will be ready to rock and roll the next day. Apart from that, heavy smartphone users tend to carry a powerbank of sorts with them these days, because their handset has the tendency to run out of juice by the time lunch is over due to all the wheeling and dealing done. It looks like a smartphone with super long battery life is more than welcome, and the upcoming Lenovo P70t does seem to be able to deliver in this aspect.
