There are various smartwatches and fitness trackers available out there, but if you love the Samsung Gear S2 but were a bit bummed that there isn’t support for iOS, it seems that you might not have to remain disappointed for much longer. According to a report from SamMobile, they claim to have confirmed with their source that iOS support will be coming soon.
This will come in the form of the Gear Manager app for iOS, which apparently is something that Samsung is working on. For those unfamiliar, Gear Manager is the app that will allow users to control and sync their smartphones with the smartwatch. While streaming music will probably not eat up as much data compared to streaming videos, if you were to stream music all day, chances are it will end up eating a pretty huge chunk of your data. If you are on unlimited data plans then we guess this shouldn’t really be much of an issue, but if you have a data cap you could run into issues before the month is out.
This is precisely the problem that T-Mobile’s Music Freedom service is hoping to avoid, and the good news is that the program has recently added 11 new music streaming services to its support list. This includes SomaFM, Spinrilla, Aud.io, and TuneIn Premium just to name a few, so if you are using any of these 11 services, you can go ahead and use it and not worry about data consumption.
