Brik-case-imageThere are a variety of cases designed for the MacBook series of laptops from Apple. Some are designed to be protective cases, while some are merely decorative. If you’re after a case that will offer the latter feature, then you might be interested in the Brik case which as you can see in the photo above, will allow MacBook users to decorate their laptops using LEGO-style bricks.

As it stands the creators of the Brik case are trying to raise funds via Kickstarter and with 26 days to go and with their funding standing at $19,000, we reckon there’s a good chance of them making it. Now we should note that these aren’t LEGO bricks per se, but rather bricks that resemble LEGO, although its creators say that their case will work with LEGO, Mega Bloks, PixelBlocks, KRE-O, and K’NEX bricks. inside_prisonWhen the idea of escaping from prison comes to mind, we probably think of elaborate plots, patience, distractions, timing, all of which will come together in a nice montage where the prisoner(s) escape successfully, kind of like what you might expect in a movie. However in the case of Neil Moore, a fraudster in the UK, his escape was less exciting but still pretty inventive nonetheless.

What Moore did was when he was on remand, he used an illicit mobile phone to create a fake email account. He then posted as a senior court clerk and sent bail instructions to the prison staff who apparently thought the email was legit, thus releasing him in the process. His escape was only discovered when solicitors went to interview him and discovered he was gone. Read full post →Prisoner In The UK Escapes From Jail By Sending A Bogus Email

Browse_Playlists_UKEarlier this year Sony announced a partnership with Spotify in which the service, dubbed PlayStation Music, would be launched come 29th of March which means that it should already be available on your console. The app is reported to have automatically download onto your PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4 console so you should able to see it when you boot it up.

The good news is that gamers who wish to use the service will not have to subscribe to Spotify’s Premium service or have PS Plus subscription. All gamers need is their console and they will be able to access it for free. However the free version also means that the audio quality will not be as good compared to Spotify Premium and users will be subject to ads that are played in between songs. lumia_930_blind_cameraThere is a lot of debate going on as to which smartphone is able to take the best photos, and it looks like in a blind camera test conducted by the folks at PhoneArena, it turns out that the Nokia Lumia 930 took home the prize, beating out the likes of other high-end handsets like the iPhone 6 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in the process.

In some ways this doesn’t come as a surprise because despite Nokia’s handsets not packing the latest or most powerful hardware, its cameras tend to be a force to be reckoned with. Based on the votes of their test, the Lumia 930 came in first with 6,032 votes. This was closely followed by the Galaxy Note 4 with 5,936 votes, and lagging somewhat behind is the iPhone 6 Plus with 4,344 votes. lg midrange phoneIn February ahead of MWC 2015, LG announced four new handsets in the form of the LG Magna, Spirit, Leon, and Joy. For those wondering what’s become of those devices, you might be interested to learn that according to LG, they have begun to make their way into the market starting with South Korea before making its way to Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America.

The handsets aren’t particularly amazing in terms of hardware, but given their mid-range specs chances are they will be priced somewhat affordably. Starting with the LG Magna, this is a 5-inch 720p HD smartphone with a quad-core processor under its hood. It will be accompanied by 1GB of RAM, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, 8GB of storage, and a 2,540mAh battery. apple watch preorderThinking about pre-ordering the Apple Watch? You can do so starting on the 10th of April but here’s the kicker, according to a report apparently pre-ordering the Apple Watch will have some limitations, such as users being unable to choose the band/case combination of their Apple Watch.

Basically what this means is that Apple will have cases/band combinations available on their website, but if for some reason you want to choose your own case and band combination, that will not be possible during the pre-order phase. It is expected that perhaps later on more customizability will be unlocked, but there is a good chance that the rumors about supply constraints might have to do with Apple trying to keep the combinations to a minimum at the start. BlackBerry-LogoWhile BlackBerry used to be the darling of the mobile phone industry with its QWERTY keyboard smartphones, its exclusive BBM service, and its ability to send secure emails, things certainly aren’t looking up for the Canadian company. The company had recently announced their Q4 figures and it looks like things aren’t going so well.

According to the numbers, BlackBerry has managed to sell 1.6 million smartphones in Q4 alone. To the layman these are a lot of phones, but compared to the same period last year, it represents a rather steep decline. That same period last year saw BlackBerry sell 3.4 million smartphones, so to see it drop to 1.6 million is a bit disheartening. With the popularity of the Halo franchise spanning many years, we’re sure gamers are looking forward to the next installment – Halo 5: Guardians.
