canon 5dsWith the Canon 5D MK II being discontinued, Canon launched the 5D MK III, but even then that was almost three years ago which means that it probably wouldn’t come as a complete shock if Canon had a newer 5D camera in the works. In fact thanks to recently leaked specs and an image from Digicame-Info (via Canon Watch), we could be getting our first look at the new Canon DSLR.

The camera, if the rumors and image are to be believed, will not be called the Canon 5D MK IV. Instead the camera will be known as the Canon 5Ds and there will also be a variant called the Canon 5Ds R. Unless these are cameras are going to be part of a new lineup, it is safe to assume that they will be the successor to the 5D MK III. Read full post →Alleged Canon 5Ds Photos And Specs Leaked

lg-g3-phone-015The LG G3 was one of the first mainstream branded Android phones to make it onto the market with a QHD display which was actually pretty impressive. moto-g-2014-review-2So now that Lenovo officially owns Motorola Mobility, it doesn’t really come as a surprise that they would try to shift some of Motorola’s efforts over to China, but hopefully Lenovo recognizes that not only is China a potentially huge market for Motorola, but that they not forget that India is just as big.

According to a recent report from The Economic Times of India, it seems that Motorola is doing pretty well for themselves in the country as they have managed to sell 3 million smartphones since February 2014 last year. Does that come as a surprise? Hardly. You might recall that last year that the Moto G and the Moto E helped Motorola steal market share from Nokia. nokia 8210Remember back in the day of the feature phone where Bluetooth, WiFi, and GPS were considered luxuries? Nowadays just about every smartphone has such features and to not have these features would certainly raise a couple of eyebrows. However while most of us would turn our noses at these feature phones, there is a market out there for such devices – the drug dealing market.

In a recent story run by Vice, it turns out that phone of choice for drug dealers is none other than the Nokia 8210 feature phone. Of course back in the day, the Nokia 8210 was considered one of the more premium devices as it was compact and extremely thin, but now it looks like it has relegated itself to being a drug dealer’s phone of choice. zte blade l3Just the other day ZTE launched the ZTE Blade S6 and if you thought that was all the company had up their sleeves, think again because it looks like ZTE has since announced the ZTE Blade L3. However unlike the ZTE Blade S6, the ZTE Blade L3 will come with some pretty low-end specs, which we guess is great for the budget shopper.

So what are we looking at? The phone will feature a 5-inch qHD 960×540 display. It will be powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor and will be accompanied by 1GB of RAM, which we guess should be good enough to get the job done, but if you’re looking for more power then you’d probably have to look elsewhere. oxygen osThe OnePlus One was launched with CyanogenMod installed it which made many an Android user happy, however it was later rumored and confirmed that OnePlus would be making a ROM of their own, which they have and is currently in alpha stage at the moment. Things appear to be progressing nicely because the company has since officially announced the name of their ROM – OxygenOS.

This is in line with the teaser OnePlus released the other day where they posted an image of the periodic table. At that time it was wrongly assumed that they would be releasing a new backplate for the OnePlus One, but as it turns out the teaser was for their ROM all along. According to the company, “Oxygen is all around us. It’s part of us and everything we do. It creates the water that carves out valleys and moves mountains. By itself, it’s simple and pure—a fundamental building block. But, as a part of something greater, it can do amazing things. Just like us.” Read full post →OnePlus’ Android ROM Gets An Official Name, Meet The OxygenOS
