Now that Samsung has formally unveiled its two new smartphones, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, carriers in the United States are sending in their confirmations that they will indeed be selling this device when it is released next month. T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular and Cricket have all confirmed that they will offer Samsung’s latest and greatest to their customers in April.

Samsung took to the stage in Barcelona today to unveil the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. The company also announced its payment service, Samsung Pay, at today’s event. We finally got to know what the Galaxy S6 release date is. The new smartphone will be released on April 10th. Initially it will only be available in 20 countries around the globe before expanding to other nations.

Last year Samsung unveiled a virtual reality headset called the Gear VR. It works with the Galaxy Note 4. Today the company unveiled its new smartphones, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, and also announced a new Gear VR innovator edition headset that works with the new smartphones. Apart from adding support for its latest smartphones Samsung has also made a couple of tweaks to the VR headset to ensure that they provide users with an improved virtual reality experience.

For the past few months we have been hearing rumors that Samsung is working on a new payments service, today the company confirmed it, Samsung Pay was formally announced at Samsung’s event today in Barcelona. The Samsung Pay announcement came as part of the company’s Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge unveil, both devices support this service, which utilizes NFC and MST or Magnetic Secure Transaction.

The Lenovo Tab 2 A8 and A10 may be from the same family, but they address slightly different usage models and price points, which is why they use different internal configurations based on MediaTek processors.

What they have in common is that they are built around the idea that multimedia needs will be handled well, including Dolby Atmos playback capabilities, and that both tablets can connect to LTE networks. Lenovo-Miix-300-v.1The Lenovo MIIX 300 (rumored as MIIX 3) has been designed to hit an incredible low price of $149, which is kind of nutty if you think that it runs the full Windows 8.1 operating system. Surprisingly, it uses an IPS display (1280×800, 300 NIT brightness), which typically has wide view angles, and a higher quality than other LCD-based technologies. Of course, there are quality differences among IPS displays, but it’s nice to see this technology show up in entry-level devices such as this one. The smartwatch wars have heated up considerably since last year which started off with new models from Motorola, Samsung and LG. Since then many other companies have jumped into the fray with their own smartwatches while companies like Samsung and LG launched multiple models of their own. The LG Watch Urbane was recently announced and received much praise for its great design and now AT&T has confirmed that it will be selling this product.

At the time this accessory was listed as “coming soon,” so one couldn’t really say when it would be available for purchase, well the wait ends today.
