While most of us might be familiar with South Korean brands like Samsung and LG, there are a few more others that might not be as familiar in the US. One of those brands is Pantech and while the company has released a couple of phones in the US, for the most part their releases tend to be exclusive to South Korea.
However they do make some pretty interesting products and according to a recent report (via Blog of Mobile), it seems that Pantech could be working on a new phablet device that could be giving Samsung’s Galaxy Note series of phablets a run for its money. Let’s say you’re planning a trip overseas and you are looking to put some games on your phone so that during the downtimes you aren’t so bored. Now unfortunately there are some games that will require an internet connection, and unless you plan on paying data roaming fees, you’ll probably want to look for a different game.
That being said, it seems that Google has recently added an Offline Games subcategory to the Google Play Store. What this means is that if you’re looking for games that won’t require you to be connected to the internet, then these are the games you will want to browse.
