Usually when movies are made about video games, they tend to deviate from the game’s original story. We suppose this is done because the story has already been played out, and also maybe because some directors don’t want to step on the toes of hardcore fans of these movies, but so far most video game-cum-movies have turned out rather badly.
However could things change with the Assassin’s Creed movie? According to a tweet by the Assassin’s Creed Twitter account, it has been revealed that the movie and the games will all be connected to each other. Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XV has been in the works for a while now, and we’re sure many are curious as to when the game will be released. In fact it was last year that we were treated to some gameplay footage, so it should be soon, right? The good news is that while it isn’t necessarily soon, we at least have a timeframe to look forward to.
Announced at PAX Prime, the game’s director Hajime Tabata has revealed that Final Fantasy XV will be released in 2016, or so we hope. According to Tabata, he stated that Square Enix will be holding a special event in March 2016 where the game’s release date will be revealed.
