Even though Verizon released the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Galaxy Note 4 back in April it didn’t provide the same treatment to the Galaxy Note Edge, a handset that Samsung released alongside the Galaxy Note 4 last year. Verizon has made Note Edge owners wait for a long time even while rival carriers released Lollipop for their variants, but today it’s finally coming through. The Galaxy Note Edge is receiving the much awaited Android 5.0 Lollipop update on Verizon today.
HTC has teamed up with Verizon to entice people to purchase its latest flagship smartphone, which is merely an evolutionary update of last year’s flagship handset. Perhaps that’s one of the reasons why the company is finding it hard to sell as many One M9 units as it really needs to. It’s running a new promotion with Verizon through which One M9 customers are being offered $100 in Google Play credit.
