A couple of months ago, Blizzard announced a new partnership with Facebook which enables the game studio to integrate Facebook Live into all of its games on PC. This will allow the players to stream any Blizzard game on Facebook Live. Games like Overwatch, Diablo and Hearthstone can now be streamed easily directly to the live stream. This partnership was announced in June this year and it has finally gone live now.

Huawei is one of the fastest growing mobile companies on the planet and it’s already a major player in China’s mobile market. The company has inked a partnership with Truecaller which will see its called ID and smart phone book app pre-installed on tens of millions of Huawei handsets. Truecaller’s features include a crowdsourced directory to screen spam calls as well as a smart phone book to find numbers.

Google has already released Android 7.0 Nougat for compatible Nexus devices so it’s up to OEMs and carriers now to get the updates ready and send them out to supported smartphones and tablets. This process can take anywhere from a few weeks to even a full year depending on the device you have. For example, AT&T just released Marshmallow for the Galaxy S5, even though it has been well over a year since this update was released. T-Mobile has now sent out a list of handsets on its network which will receive Nougat in the first wave.

Galaxy S5 owners on AT&T can now finally breathe a sign of relief as their carrier has finally released the much awaited Marshmallow update for this handset. Rival carriers like Verizon sent out the update for said device about three months ago. The country’s second largest carrier has made its customers wait for quite a long time but now that it has rolled out the update, they will just be happy that they are finally getting it.

It was reported soon after Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 7 which features 4GB RAM and 64GB of onboard storage that the company will soon release a variant just for China which will feature 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Many Samsung executives reportedly teased this variant as well by saying that it was “possible” for the company to launch a Note 7 with 6GB RAM in China. As it turns out, the People’s Republic has got the same Note 7 variant like every other market, at least for now.

The Xbox One now supports cross-play which means that gamers on Windows 10 can play games against those on the Xbox One. Microsoft has signalled its willingness to make this happen between Xbox One and PlayStation 4 as well but that depends on whether or not Sony is up for it. Sony has indicated that it might talk about cross-play but hasn’t given any assurances if it’s going to adopt it. Xbox’s marketing head recently shed some more light on the possibility of Xbox One and PS4 cross-play in a new interview.
