GeoHot or George Hotz is famous for being the first person to jailbreak the iPhone several years ago. He remained a part of the jailbreaking scene for a few years, he even developed a jailbreak for the PlayStation 3 which landed him in a lot of trouble with Sony. He has been out of the scene for some time now but late last year a profile on him revealed that he was working on a self-driving car in his garage. Mr. Hotz has now received millions of dollars in backing for his ambitious project.

BlackBerry had confirmed back when it launched the Priv that it would upgrade its first Android handset to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The company has been very quick in getting the latest security patches out for its first Android device and it acknowledges that many of its users have been asking for the Marshmallow update. People who have the cerebral palsy movement disorder can find it hard to operate gadgets since a majority of the devices out there don’t take into account the difficulties that people with cerebral palsy might face when navigating the interface. A Sony employee went out of his way to make sure that the disorder didn’t stop one gamer from enjoying his favorite games. He made a customer PlayStation 4 controller for Peter Byrne who wrote to Sony that the DualShock 4’s touchpad was hard to use with his cerebral palsy as he would inadvertently hit the touchpad and pause the game.

Amazon today announced the launch of its Amazon Payments Global Partner Program in a bid to effectively compete against the likes of PayPal and other similar companies. The new program will bring the Amazon Payments platform to more third-party websites.
