Not too long ago HTC’s 2014 flagship, which will apparently be called the All New HTC One, was extensively “reviewed” on video. The device landed in a teenager’s hands through his parents who reportedly work at the company. The video showed off the new phone in all its glory, and even drew sharp criticism and even threats of legal action from HTC. That hasn’t stopped someone else from doing the exact same thing. The All New HTC One has been caught on video once again, albeit a relatively short one.
Skype has been a popular VoIP or voice over internet protocol tool for a long time. Its widely used from people who simply want to stay in touch with the people they care about to businesses who deem it a cost effective telepresence solution. However, there has almost always been one major issue with Skype that was only fixed recently. Chat sync wasn’t supported, so if users took a call using one device, the other would keep ringing. Text chats wouldn’t synchronize across different devices making it hard to resume conversations without full continuity of the previous exchange. A new Skype for Windows 8.1 update released today fixes all that.
