Mario Kart 8 Demo Rumored For Release Ahead Of Official GameMario Kart 8 for the Nintendo Wii U is currently pegged for a release on the 30th of May. This means that we still have a little over a month to go before we are able to get our hands on the game. Given that Mario Kart 8 is one of the highly anticipated titles from Nintendo, especially for the Wii U, safe to say many are itching to play the game.

However there is some good news and that is Nintendo is apparently planning on releasing a demo of Mario Kart 8 ahead of the game’s official release, meaning that gamers will be able to try out the game and get their fix before they head out and buy it. Unfortunately this is only a rumor at this point so there’s no telling if there is any truth to it.

Borderlands For PS3 Going Offline Next MonthIn case you haven’t heard, GameSpy will be officially shuttering its doors on the 31st of May. No doubt this closes the door on an era in gaming, but what it also means for some gamers is that their favorite multiplayer games will no longer be function.

So far in terms of games that have been confirmed to be affected by this is Crytek’s Crysis 1 and 2. EA on the other hand is looking to transition older Battlefield titles to another server where they will remain playable, but the bad news for Borderlands gamers on the PS3 is that the game will be going offline in conjunction with GameSpy shutting down.

Ubisoft Employee Teases New Prince Of Persia GameIt has been a while since we last saw a brand new Prince of Persia game, although if recent rumors are anything to go by, a new title is reportedly in the works that will be powered by the UbiArt engine.

For those unfamiliar with the UbiArt engine, it’s basically the same engine that is used to power games like Rayman: Legends which allows the character models to have every part of their body animated, thus adding to the overall experience and possibly adding a new dimension of gameplay as well, although hopefully it won’t look as whimsical.

PS Vita Gamers Can Download Their PSP And PSone LibrariesThe PS Vita is a pretty handy handheld console if you like to take your gaming with you on the go but if you were looking for additional games to play, perhaps relive some games from the glory days of the Sony PSP (the Vita’s predecessor) and the PSone (the original PlayStation console), you might be interested to learn that PS Vita owners can now download their entire PSP and PSone library, a feature which was pretty limited in the past.

This was discovered by PS Vita owners recently, especially after weekend which saw Flash Sales of PSone titles like Spyro and Crash, and after that they realized that they could then go ahead and download their entire libraries. Sony has yet to make an official announcement which is a little odd, so we’re not sure if this was by design or by mistake, and if there are any limitations that gamers need to be aware of.
