Now there’s no shortage of online services which let you stream music for free, legally I might add, and while Grooveshark often found itself in a legal grey area many just assumed that the site would continue to live on and would fight or its survival by going up against record labels that urged it to give up. The record companies won in the end as Grooveshark was shut down by the authorities last week and as fans of the service mourned its loss, it appears a team was silently working to bring the site back online.

Professional skater Tony Hawk hinted recently that he’s working on a new console game with Activision and later a leak revealed that this would be a new addition in the “Pro Skater” franchise. The title was teased a couple of times but now it has finally been confirmed in the latest issue of Game Informer. Intel’s Compute Stick is a nifty little device that lets you turn any HDMI display into a full-fledged PC provided that you aren’t looking to perform processor intensive tasks, because it’s not really a powerhouse. The first-gen Compute Stick is powered by the Intel Atom Z3735 Bay Trail processor coupled with 2GB RAM, multiple reviews of the product suggest that this package is just not enough to get things done on the Compute Stick. Under the program the company will hand out units to selected participants who will be able to use the device for a couple of weeks. All of this will be done before the device is released to the public by the end of this month.
