HP-Spectre-x2-01The HP Spectre range has always been a pretty interesting one, coming up with various models including a hybrid in the form of the HP Spectre x360 earlier this year. Well, it seems that the Spectre family name is still alive and kicking, where HP has just announced the brand new HP Spectre x2. If you have been on the lookout for a really slim notebook that gets the job done, then look no further – this premium notebook measures just 8mm thin, and will tip the scales at a mere 1.78 pounds when it is in tablet mode, now how about that? Surely this is worth getting if you happen to attend plenty of tradeshows, and need to constantly shuffle back and forth the showfloor while lugging around a really heavy load on your back.

tesla_model_x_5It was just last week that the Tesla Model X was officially launched. However it looks like that’s not all the company has up their sleeves. In fact it would seem that Tesla could very well be working on another car called the Model Y. This is based on a tweet by Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk which has since been deleted.

According to the already-deleted tweet, it read “there will be a Model 3 and a Model Y. One of the two will.” Just for a bit of context, the tweet was in response to one fan asking Musk if the Model 3 will have the falcon-wing doors like the Model X, to which Musk teased that the car may or may not have it, and that maybe that feature could be for the Model Y. HP-Spectre-x360-01It looks like what has been announced in May earlier this year has finally come to fruition in the form of the HP Spectre x360, a tablet/notebook hybrid that takes on the convertible PC form factor which was first popularized by Lenovo’s Yoga range of devices. This 13.3″ convertible machine claims to deliver an ultra-thin design, but no matter how much you thin it down, it still cannot beat the svelteness of a pure tablet on its own, so be prepared to work those arms out a wee bit if you would like to use this as your primary computing device. On to the goodies underneath the hood now…
