OnePlus Marketing Stunt Asks The Public To Smash The PastThe OnePlus One handset has been officially announced and we’re sure based on its hardware specifications as well as the fact that the phone will come preinstalled with CyanogenMod that Android users are very interested in it. If there is one complaint that Android users have is that OEMs tend to add to own skin and themes to their phones, which in some cases are truly unnecessary and adds to a bad experience.

The OnePlus One aims to do away with that, thanks to CyanogenMod, and the good news is that if you had your eye on the handset, you might be interested to learn that the folks at OnePlus are pulling some kind of marketing stunt in which if you are willing to film yourself smashing your old phone to pieces, you will be able to pick up the brand new OnePlus One handset for only a dollar.

GTA 5 Source Code Hints At Jetpacks [Rumor]Good days Grand Theft Auto V gamers, it seems that you guys could soon be getting a jetpack in the game, assuming that the source code does indeed indicate at that possibility. This was discovered by Chr0m3 x MoDz who is a member of the Se7enSins community, and in the source code he discovered several references made to a jetpack.

Of course there’s no way of knowing if the jetpack is indeed real, but there are signs that point to it. For example one of the secret’s of Grand Theft Auto V involves a certain Mount Chiliad mural. Modding games is nothing new and in the past, we have seen how mods have changed games. Some mods are more utility-based while some truly transform the game into something else entirely, like how Skyrim mods have actually improved the graphics of the game, making it look completely unrecognizable.

That being, YouTuber boblester122 has put together a video in which Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto IV game has been given a slight mod by introducing Elsa, the Snow Queen character from the animated film, Frozen. It’s actually a little bizarre to see Elsa run around shooting guns and firing off rockets, all the while the theme song, Let It Go, is playing the background.

Borderlands For PS3 Going Offline Next MonthIn case you haven’t heard, GameSpy will be officially shuttering its doors on the 31st of May. No doubt this closes the door on an era in gaming, but what it also means for some gamers is that their favorite multiplayer games will no longer be function.

So far in terms of games that have been confirmed to be affected by this is Crytek’s Crysis 1 and 2.
