It seems that the company which has come into the limelight for a fair number of years already due to its association with helping Apple manufacture a number of its products, is said to be re-entering India with new manufacturing facilities. This contract manufacturer happens to assemble plenty of smartphones, was mentioned in a report that was recently published. In that particular report, Devendra Fadnavis, India’s Chief Minister of the state, did confirm that Foxconn is set to invest a large sum of dough in either Pune or Aurangabad.

These unique toys will feature built-in microphones that will be working all the time, trying to listen for spoken cues. Google X, the experimental arm of Google, has just filed this patent this week, and it could very well end up as the most odd project to date. After all, an entire range of Internet-connected stuffed animals that might be able to help you control appliances in the home, and yet maintain eye contact with the little ones? Sounds like a winner.

In fact many are wondering if a repeat of the “C” phone this year is truly needed but that’s a debate for another time. In the meantime it seems that over in the UK, the police have attributed the phone to saving a man’s life.

As you can see in the image above, the shows the iPhone 5c peppered with what appears to be shotgun pellets. Apparently the man in question was shot up close by a shotgun. While he did suffer serious abdominal injuries, the police claim that the phone took the brunt of the shot, which is why his wounds were not fatal. Blizzard is a developer who has been known for three major franchises – StarCraft, Warcraft, and Diablo. All three franchises have proven to be extremely successful in their own ways and have developed legions of fans, which is why when Blizzard introduced Overwatch, many sat up and paid attention.

The game is the first new franchise from Blizzard in the past decade or so and it is basically a first-person-shooter, with the graphics and style of the game reminding us of Valve’s Team Fortress series. fitbit-charge-statementWhen it comes to choosing a wearable for our wrists, we can opt for the more well-rounded smartwatch like the Apple Watch, or we could opt for more dedicated fitness bands that are more focused towards fitness than displaying notifications, such as those created by Fitbit and Garmin.

That being said in terms of wearable bands, it seems that Fitbit is the current leader. This is according to analyst firm Canalys who revealed that Fitbit saw a major year-on-year growth, and that the wearable band market saw a 150% increase in sales year-on-year. These rumors consist of who might be interested in buying the company and so far we have heard big names such as Microsoft, Uber, and even Apple and Google’s names were mention.

That being said if you are thinking that we might have the official word on who might own Nokia’s HERE Maps anytime soon, you could be disappointed.
