youxia-xChina, the world’s second largest economy, has certainly done its part in going up the manufacturing food chain, and you would be surprised that Chinese startup Youxia Motors has just made an announcement of its very first production car – and it will be all-electric, to boot. This particular model would be the Youxia X, and while it is not quite the rip-off that other Chinese cars were, the design is said to be inspired by the Tesla Model S, while one can also see semblances of Lexus, Audi and Maserati rides, too. However, one must note that there is no truly original design these days, or it is rather difficult to find one that is offered from scratch.

periscopePeriscope has just introduced a brand new update to its iOS app, and in this particular update, there will be a mute feature in order to prevent you from being disturbed by whoever is broadcasting live all the time. The ability to mute someone does not mean that they are taken off your “following” list, and you can still be on the receiving end of their live feeds. However, you will no longer need to receive notifications whenever this muted person begins to “broadcast”.

qualcomm-logoKevin Wang, the research director for IHS Technology China, did mention on his Weibo page that manufacturers should sit up and take notice of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset that is set to arrive on upcoming smartphone models since he claims that there will be no more heating issues with the Snapdragon 820 as with the Snapdragon 810. Wang claims that the quartet of custom cores as well as 14nm process that is used on the Snapdragon 820 will prevent the chip from running into overheating issues.

Not much is known about the console at the moment, although there have been rumors that it will be powered by an AMD processor but despite that, it won’t be as powerful as the competition. Then again Nintendo has never really been known to chase specs so that doesn’t really come as a surprise.

However according to a new report from Digi-Capital (via VG247), it seems that Nintendo could take a novel approach to the console by incorporating virtual reality technology. That being said this won’t be your traditional VR setup where Nintendo will design a special VR headset for the console. Instead Digi-Capital believes that Nintendo will leverage its partnership with DeNA to create virtual reality apps that could be used with existing devices like the Samsung VR. street fighter 5Last week, Capcom thought it would be a great idea to let their fans take Street Fighter 5 for a test run by launching a beta test. Sounds good so far, right? Unfortunately due to a variety of server issues, it seemed that the game was rendered unplayable with Capcom initially opting to suspend the beta until it could be rectified.

However it turns out that the server issues have been severe enough where Capcom has decided to suspend the beta indefinitely until they believe it is good to go.
