Microsoft Band Hero 2 640x463At the end of October, Microsoft made a surprising quiet announcement which unveiled the company’s first wearable – the Microsoft Band. The device, for those unfamiliar, is a fitness tracker that tracks the usual activities but also has the ability to measure the wearer’s heart rate. With it priced at $199, it proved to be a hit and sold out in a relatively short amount of time.

Now the bad news is that it seems that Microsoft appears to be unable to keep up with the demand for the Microsoft Band. The company has recently sent out an email to their customers who have expressed interest in the device, informing them that they are still currently out of stock and that they should try their local Microsoft Store which could have some units available. iPhone 6 review 6 640x426When Apple released the iPhone 5, we can only imagine the rush of users who went to the iTunes App Store to check out apps that have been optimized for its larger display, and to check for apps that have been updated to match the iPhone 5’s 4-inch display. google nexus 10 review 01 640x426The Nexus 10 tablet from Google was launched 2 years ago with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The good news is that with it being a Nexus device, it was on the receiving end of the latest Android build – Android 5.0 Lollipop. Now if you have yet to update your tablet to the latest version of Android, it seems that you might want to consider holding off on doing so for now.

There seems to be a growing number of complaints on the Google Product Forums that the Nexus 10 tablet has inexplicitly lost its audio after users had updated to Android 5.0. This isn’t just a speaker problem as users who have tried to plug in headphones to the tablet are reporting that no audio is routed to their headphones either. android l updateThe joy of buying a phone from a retailer as opposed to a carrier is that you can skip all that carrier approval processes that usually comes with updates, and chances are you might see updates earlier than those who bought their phones from carriers. sony pictures hackedEarlier today we reported that Sony had denied claims that PSN was hacked and if you thought that was the end of it, you’d be mistaken. While Sony PSN might not have been hacked, it looks like another division of Sony has – Sony Pictures. According to reports, Sony Picture employees were recently greeted with an image which you can see in the screenshot above.

The image shows a threatening message left behind by the hackers, followed by a handful of URLs which apparently is where the hackers might have uploaded sensitive information they might have stolen from Sony Pictures, although we highly suggest that you do not follow these URLs as they could just as easily contain malware that might infect your computer.
