xbox one hands on review 02 640x406In the past, the very idea of a new design when it comes to consoles more often than not involved the release of a spanking new console generation. AMD might be in such a situation now, as it is suspected that they are working on a next generation chip for an upcoming “Xbox One Slim” console redesign.

vivo thin1It does feel as though the pressure to roll out the world’s thinnest smartphone is telling, especially among the various smartphone manufacturers. The folks over at Oppo certainly made the world turn on its head earlier this week after lifting the veil on their smartphone that measures all of just 4.85mm, which is roughly 0.19” in thickness. Apparently, that particular mantle is not going to remain with them for long, as their rival Vivo could be working on something that is slimmer, and we are talking about a rather considerable margin here.

Sound quality is usually an afterthought, or in the case of some gamers, not even considered at all as they are perfectly happy with their motherboard’s onboard sound card and their headphones.

However if you consider yourself to be a gamer and an audiophile, then you might be interested to learn that Creative’s Sound Blaster X7 will be launching this December, although with a price tag of around $400, it is definitely one of the slightly more expensive computer speakers that one can buy today, but we guess that’s the price you’ll have to pay for quality. stylus1s 350x271 640x480Around this time last year, Olympus announced the Stylus 1 camera, which is why we can’t say we’re too surprised to learn that Olympus has refreshed the camera by announcing the Olympus Stylus 1s. Unfortunately for photographers, it looks like the Stylus 1s will be exclusive to the Japanese market for now, but perhaps Olympus could bring it to international markets in the future, who knows?

That being said, the Stylus 1s is not a huge upgrade over its predecessor from last year. ps4 hrdware large18 640x334It is no secret that Sony’s PlayStation 4 is doing well for itself. In fact earlier this year about half a year since its release, the Sony had managed to sell over 7 million PlayStation 4 units, so what about recently? Well according to Sony’s recent financials, it has been revealed that the company had managed to ship 3.3 million PlayStation 4 units from July to September.

Sony also noted that they had managed to ship 800,000 PlayStation 3 units during that same time period, although given that amount, it is safe to say that demand for the PlayStation 3 console is starting to dwindle, despite its larger library of games and more affordable price tag, but we suppose all good things must come to an end, right?
