Sony has announced that it will be releasing its new ultra-thin 4K TVs in the United States this summer. The new lineup features a sleek design and is powered by the new 4K Processor X1, Android TV is also present onboard. The 2015 lineup includes six new series of 4K Ultra HD TVs, the X830C, X850C and X930C/X940C which can all be pre-ordered today and they’ll arrive in May. X900C/X910C will be available in the summer.

It has barely even been a week since Rockstar released Grand Theft Auto 5 for PC gamers and it’s pushing out the first patch for this title. Some people did face a couple of issues right after the title was launched, one issue prevented the game’s installation if one’s username had certain characters in it. The first patch for GTA 5 on PC brings fixes for all of those issues.

Sony has confirmed that Ultra Street Fighter 4 will be released for the PlayStation 4 next month. The team at Other Ocean Interactive is putting the final touches on this Capcom classic and it will be ready to arrive in May. All of the characters, levels and DLC content that has been launched so far will be included in the PS4 version.

Information gathered from the emails and documents leaked during the Sony hack reveal that the studio wants the Uncharted movie to be more “intense” than the National Treasure franchise, but not as “silly.” The studio also wants to have a deeper romantic storyline than the Nicholas Cage starring franchise. Leaked information also reveals that Mark Wahlberg is no longer in the running to play Nathan Drake.

Amazon has decided to sunset the TestDrive service which allowed people to try Android apps before they decided to buy them. Since the feature was launched back in 2011 more than 16,000 apps have allowed people to try before they buy but as more and more apps move towards a ‘free to play’ model with in-app purchases, the TestDrive service’s usage has plummeted and that’s why Amazon has decided to kill it.

Microsoft may not have shut the door on the possibility of Cortana being ported to other platforms, but that’s not going to stop a group of hackers from putting together their own Cortana Android port. The execution isn’t perfect and not all of the features work but the port does show that is certainly possible for Microsoft’s virtual assistant to work on a platform other than Windows.

Norway is going to become the first country to officially switch off its national FM radio service in just a couple of years. The country is going to take this step in order to complete the transition to digital radio. Norway is going to pull the plug on FM radio in 2017, the country’s Minister of Culture announced earlier this week.

Game of Thrones fans had been waiting for a year for the premiere of season five on April 12th. A few hours before the first episode of the new season was due to air, the first four episodes were leaked online. Torrents spread like wildfire and even though the leaked files were in measly 480p, many were quick to download those episodes and get their Game of Thrones fix. He then got together with some of the biggest names in music to relaunch the service. Subscriptions cost $20 per month, almost double than what every other music streaming service is asking, but Tidal is selling people the idea of high quality lossless streaming which the other services don’t offer.
