While we expect the company will eventually launch a OnePlus Two, the successor to the OnePlus One, the company’s next product launch in April will not be that. OnePlus has recently confirmed to the folks at GSMArena that they will be launching a new product in April.

However it also seems that their upcoming product will not be a smartphone, leaving us to wonder what it could be. It’s not the company’s flagship handset but we guess it’s better than nothing and a great buy for those who are shopping on a budget. Now if you’re wondering when you can get your hands on the handset, you might be interested to learn that it is currently available for pre-order via Amazon’s website in Germany.

The handeset has been priced at €279 which is actually a little bit cheaper than what Sony had originally mentioned as to how much it would cost, but hey we guess we can’t really complain, right? The device will be available in either a black or white finish, depending on what you’re after. Some of these companies focus on 1-2 flagships followed by a slew of low-mid range handsets designed to capture the rest of the market. If you were hoping to see Motorola follow suit, you might be disappointed to learn that will not be the case.

During a recent interview, Motorola’s CEO Rick Osterloh stated that the company’s strategy in the near future will not be changing as they will be sticking to releasing just a few handsets a year. According to Osterloh, he was quoted as saying, “We’re definitely not interested in going in a million different directions.” He did however promise that new products will be launched later in the year. The good news is that if you’re after such a device with fast connectivity, Netgear has recently announced their latest AirCard mobile hotspot.

This was unveiled by the company at MWC 2015 and it is essentially a mobile hotspot with support for LTE Category 9 connectivity. What this means is that the device has the potential to provide download speeds up to 450Mbps, although this could vary depending on the carrier and other factors, but in paper that’s as fast as you could get. If you’re a fan of the former you might be interested to learn that the company has recently taken the wraps off their latest high-end GPU in the form of the NVIDIA Titan X.

The exact details of the Titan X remain a mystery for now as NVIDIA’s CEO Jen-Hsun Huang said that those details will be shared at NVIDIA’s GPU Technology Conference which will be kicking off in two week’s time. It seems that more companies these days are starting to head down the luxury watch route, what with the Moto 360 and the LG Watch Urbane, which is why it didn’t exactly come as a surprise to see Huawei follow suit.

That being said while the Huawei Watch looks amazing, no word on how much it will be priced. According to the folks at BGR, they claim to have heard from their source that the Huawei Watch might come with a rather hefty price tag to the tune of $1,000. simcity-offline-modeFor those who have been playing the SimCity franchise, you guys are probably aware that Maxis is the developer behind the titles. Unfortunately if you are hoping to see future titles released under the Maxis banner, you might be disappointed to learn that EA has recently announced that they will be shutting down Maxis.

This does not mean that there will no longer be future SimCity or The Sims titles, but rather development of those franchises will be moved to EA’s own studios at Redwood Shores, California; Salt Lake City; Helsinki; and Melbourne, Australia. We have known for a while now that HBO is working on an over-the-top internet TV streaming service. The cable giant has already confirmed its plans to move into internet streaming in order to capture those cord cutters who just don’t want to pay for a cable subscription. According to the new report the cable giant’s much awaited service will be called HBO Now and it will cost $15 per month.
