While ASUS might not necessarily be a company known for their mobile devices, the company has released a steady stream of smartphones and tablets over the years, and come CES 2015 it looks like ASUS has new products in store for us. The company has recently posted a new teaser video on its Facebook page which seems to tease an upcoming ZenFone device.

The official announcement is expected to be made at CES 2015 which is taking place early January next year, so we guess we only have a few weeks to go until it is all made official. That being said the teaser seems to show off the rear-facing cameras of its upcoming device. Interestingly enough there are dual rear-facing cameras. I would like to think that this was just in the pipeline, waiting to happen simply because the reason to exists. What am I referring to? Why, Markus “Notch” Persson’s $70 million purchase of what is deemed to be the most expensive home in Beverly Hills, having gone through a recreation in where else but Minecraft, the very game that made “Notch” insanely wealthy in the first place.

When it comes to the number of talented people out there where the performing arts are concerned, you can be sure that there are way more than the amount we know – simply because they have not “broken out” into mainstream consciousness. Most of the time, fans to a certain video game or movie franchise have plenty of passion, and are not short on talent, too. This is why we have seen a remake of a trailer for the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens, where it uses the Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA 5) engine to get the job done. Kudos to Powerlight-13 of YouTube to come up with this amazing recreation, not to mention superb aerial choreography.

halo3 freeHow does one right a wrong? Why, by making amends, of course – although an apology is certainly more than welcome. Apparently, those who have experienced the many issues that plagued the Halo: The Master Chief Collection launch will be pleased to hear that they will be on the receiving end of Halo 3: ODST for free – and why not throw in a new map into the mix too, right?

caddy rvmIf you are itching to get your hands on a new car some time next year or the year after next, then you might want to check out the 2016 Cadillac CT6. What would make this particular ride more special than what we have seen in the past would be the fact that its new rear view mirror will not be a traditional rear view mirror, but rather, come in the form of a display instead. This means that there will be no reflective surface, apart from an LCD display that is a poor substitute for an actual mirror whenever there is no power flowing through it.

Google does seem to be on a roll this weekend – not only have they announced the brand new Business View feature, where you can check out the latest displays decked out in Christmas revelry, but this time around, there is a new feature being introduced for the company’s very own Google+ Auto Backup system. This unique Auto Backup system is said to be able to automatically enhance the quality of videos that are snapped on mobile devices, where this feature works this way – by analyzing videos that have already been backed up to Google+, before it comes up with a refined version that users could use – where they will be presented with the option of applying color, stability, or audio quality fixes.

htconem8 501It goes without saying that when Android 5.0 Lollipop was announced earlier this year, it did cause quite a fair amount of buzz and excitement among the Android fans of the world. After all, Android 5.0 Lollipop has been touted to be one of the largest operating system updates around for quite some time already, but it was rather unfortunate to hear that the latest update’s release has been plagued with its fair number of problems which were reported in double quick time. Needless to say, Google did respond to the complaints received in a rather efficient manner through a patch release, although the update has not arrived across all mobile devices just yet. We have, however, new screenshots that point to Android 5.0.1 Lollipop that was caught running on the HTC One M8.

We have read about how the latest Great Jedi Purge – nay, the Instagram purge, has resulted in celebrities as well as users actually lose their fair number of followers, as fake accounts are weeded out in order to provide a better reflection of what’s going on in reality. This means it is not worth trying to prop up your Instagram account by coming up with fake accounts – although a New Jersey District Judge William Martini has ruled that the police are able to do so. In fact, the police will not need to get a warrant before they open a fake Instagram account.
