If you are new to Twitter, we reckon it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. There are tweets, there are retweets, and then there are Twitter conversations going on that it’s hard to keep track of who said what and when, and to be lost in the flood of news. However it looks like Twitter wants to make your life easier and has since announced a new feature called Moments.
This is a feature designed for mobile apps and according to Twitter, “Moments helps you find the best of Twitter as easily as tapping an icon – regardless of who you follow. Just visit the new tab called Moments, where you will discover stories unfolding on Twitter.” If this sounds familiar, it is because earlier today Reddit announced Upvoted, a separate website which curates the best of Reddit, so in a way you could think of Moments as the Twitter version of it. When it was announced that Samsung Pay would be launching in the US, Verizon was one of the carriers in the US that would not support the feature, or at the very least weren’t particularly committed to offering support for it. However it seems that Verizon might have had a change of heart.
In a tweet by the carrier, they have announced that they will be officially supporting Samsung Pay, albeit somewhat selective. According to Verizon, Samsung Pay will only be supported on selected compatible Verizon handsets, which includes the Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy Note 5, and the Galaxy S6 Edge+.
