Earlier this July, Microsoft made an announcement of what looked to be the cheapest Windows Phone device ever released, in the form of the Nokia Lumia 530. This particular smartphone carried a recommended retail price of a mere €85 or $115 over in the U.S., being the latest entry level device which was positioned a wee bit lower than the larger sized Lumia 630. What makes this particular story all the more interesting is how folks living in the oil rich United Arab Emirates (UAE) will be able to pick up the Lumia 530 at an even more affordable rate – in a buy one, free one promotion.
If you happen to live in the U.K. and have been hankering after a new Xbox One but somehow or rather never really managed to make the time and effort to pick one up, perhaps you might be stoked to hear that there is a price cut for the console from Microsoft over in that part of the world. Folks residing in Scotland, aren’t you glad that the recent referendum whose result would have made William Wallace roll in his grave let you remain in the U.K., being able to take advantage of the lowered £329.99 price tag?
