Earlier today we reported that T-Mobile CEO might consider offering the 32GB Lumia 925 smartphone without carrier branding. That observation was actually made in a reply to a customer’s email, so obviously there’s no official confirmation that a 32GB Lumia 925 is indeed coming to T-Mobile. Announced last week, Nokia Lumia 925 is currently only available with 16GB internal storage. It is now being reported that a variant with increased storage space might be a possibility after all, as Vodafone will reportedly sell 32GB Lumia 925 in Europe and T-Mobile Germany will sell the same in Deutschland.

There’s no confirmation as yet from Nokia or these carriers regarding the 32GB model. T-Mobile USA is currently allowing users to pre-register for the 16GB Lumia 925. From a buyer’s point of view, having the option of a model which offers greater internal storage seems useful, not everyone will be content with 16GB of internal storage. As long as we’re on the subject of Lumia 925 rumors, perhaps the alleged yellow Lumia 925 will debut with increased storage? I’m just speculating here, hopefully we’ll get official confirmation soon regarding the status of this particular variant.

The idea by an 18-year-old could help you out, as Eesha Khare recently picked up $50,000 in scholarship funds at the annual Intel International Science and Engineering Fair after he invented a supercapacitor which could eventually be perfected to full juice up a smartphone in a matter of seconds.

Her design is so small that it is capable of fitting within the insides of cell phone batteries, enabling them to juice up to the maximum level 20 to 30 seconds. The supercapacitor is said to last for up to 10,000 cycles, which would certainly outpace traditional batteries by a factor of 10. Intel claims that this particular invention would carry potential applications for car batteries, although the area where it would make the most impact would be those who love all things from the mobile device realm.

How many of you grew up on a steady diet of comics, and came upon instances where there was this huge are that is engulfed in flames, only to have a superhero like Superman fly by and blowing his lungs out, or to have the Incredible Hulk do the same (although chances are he might just clap his hands). Portland-based inventor Ryan Frayne is right now experimenting with air, by working on a special kind of valve into his device known as the Windcatcher. The Windcatcher design claims to amplify your exhalation, where using some physics calculations, it touts to multiply the air volume that passes through it by a factor of 10 or 15. Seems to carry the potential of an easy, pump-less manner to inflate things, no? Right now, Frayne has enlisted the help of Kickstarter to launch the Windcatcher, where there are 23 more days left to hit the campaign target of $50,000 in order to make it a reality. Yesterday we picked up a rumor that T-Mobile LTE Galaxy S3 model is on the way, and that they are expected to be released in the very near future. Apparently 16GB white LTE Galaxy S3 models are being delivered to T-Mobile’s retail stores across the country. According to allegedly leaked internal screenshots obtained by TmoNews, T-Mobile will launch the LTE variant of S3 on 5th June, this device will likely replace its current HSPA Galaxy S3, which costs $69.99 up front on 24 month installment plans.

Apart from the LTE compatible Galaxy S3, it is also being reported that T-Mobile will launch Galaxy Exhibit, first rumored back in February. This smartphone apparently have a WVGA display, a 1GHz processor and a 5 megapixel camera. The Galaxy Exhibit will reportedly be launched on 29th May. The screenshot does not reveal any details related to the pricing of both of these devices. If the intended release date of LTE Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Exhibit is actually this close, then we can expect the carrier to make an official announcement in the next couple of days. There might have been plenty of buzz surrounding Google Glass for quite some time already, but it will not hit the market for quite some time down the road, and here we are with something which could very well take off in a big way, too – the CastAR glasses that were developed by team which comprises of former Valve employees, where the CastAR glasses will have the sole objective of carrying the future of augmented reality gaming.

The CastAR glasses are the brainchild of Jeri Ellsworth and Rick Johnson, who so happen to work under the name Technical Illusions at this point in time. Basically, the CastAR will enable users to experience augmented reality just about anywhere they are, and also on virtually any surface. The glasses will come with mini projectors which will beam images from a connected PC, and subsequently, those images will then be bounced back onto the wearer’s eyes, where active shutters that are located on the glasses will enable the wearer to view such images in 3D glory. Right now, the prototype is obviously crude in nature, but a recent demonstration of it at the Maker Faire proved to be fairly impressive. Here’s hoping to them succeeding in the long run.

Google showed off an impressive list of 41 new features for Google+ at the I/O conference. Today the company announced that it is releasing a brand new app for Android which comes with improvements in location and photos features. The Google+ Stream has also been improved in this update. Throughout the day, version 4.0 of Google+ for Android will be rolling out to users all around the world. Apart from these features, the app also brings Notification tweaks and the ability to edit additional profile fields on the move. One tap access to the new Hangouts app is also baked in.

Hmmm, it did not take too long – just approximately a month ago after the Dove Real Beauty Sketches ad campaign went viral on YouTube (as you can see above) that it has ended up as one of the most watched video ever, at least according to the folks over at Dove. This is definitely a success by any means, and the three-minute ad has also another plaudit going for it, where it is now the third most shared ad of all time. If you want cold, hard numbers, rest assured that this ad has been viewed for over 114 million times, where it was uploaded in 25 different languages to 33 of the brand’s YouTube Channels.

The previous king of the hill where the most viewed online ad is concerned would be the Evian Roller Babies that stood at 111 million views. According to Fernando Machado, VP of Dove Skin, “The moment that the Dove Real Beauty Sketches film was uploaded to the Dove YouTube page, it quickly started to gain traction around the world with men, women, media and even other brands sharing the film. The campaign evoked an emotional reaction in millions of people that inspired them to share the positive message with others. You know what they say, better late than never, in addition to another adage, “good things come to those who wait.” Well, folks living in Japan will be more than happy this May 29th (assuming you’re a huge fan of console gaming of course) as the Sony Entertainment Network (SEN) online store will finally hit the Land of the Rising Sun, a good five months after it was launched in the US. The SEN is a browser-based marketplace which happens to be somewhat similar to the Google Play store, where users are able to sign in with their current SEN or PlayStation Network account and purchase video games, TV shows and films of their choice for any kind of supported device that they own.

It seems that Sony takes this stance – consumers will, in all probability, be far more likely to pick up digital content whenever one is able to access the kind of store that they like from a smartphone, tablet or PC. The moment you pay for the content that you want, it will be added automatically to the “My Downloads” section of the PlayStation Store, where it can then be played on the PS3, PS Vita or PSP. Chances are we would see plenty of impulse purchases here, don’t you think so?

Asus has shared that the company intends to roll out a spanking new Ultrabook sometime down the road later next month, when Computex kicks off, that is. According to Asus, the Asus Zenbook Infinity (as it will apparently be called) will be 14% thinner compared to the other notebooks that so happen to be part of the Zenbook range, and this is made possible courtesy of new materials. The Asus Zenbook Infinity will arrive with an aluminum and glass case, and it will also boast Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the lid itself in addition to being used around the keyboard.

Gorilla Glass has gained a reputation among gadget users to be a durable, damage-resistant kind of glass which normally sees action on devices such as smartphones and tablet displays, but when it comes to PC manufacturers, the use of Gorilla Glass is definitely more rare. Still, we are starting to see more and more of these PC manufacturers take advantage of all that Gorilla Glass has to offer to churn out thinner and lighter notebooks these days. Asus claims that the Zenbook Infinity will measure approximately 15.5mm thin, which would surely make this one of the thinnest ultrabooks in the market. Unfortunately, any other details concerning the Asus Zenbook Infinity remains unknown as at press time.
