lg g watch r teaser 512x640A few days ago, we reported that LG had teased that they would be launching a new smartwatch with a round face that would look more like a traditional watch, as opposed to hi-tech piece of gadgetry. That being said, LG has since released a teaser image on their Google+ page which more or less reveals the design of their upcoming watch. Now as you can see in the image above, the design of the company’s new smartwatch (which has tentatively been dubbed the LG G Watch R) definitely looks a bit more traditional. However a design firm out of Sydney, Australia by the name of Aerios has decided that perhaps it’s time to jazz things up a bit. They have recently unveiled a smartwatch charging dock dubbed the Moduul that has been designed for the LG G Watch in mind.

The dock will charge your smartwatch but due to the way it has been designed, users will be able to use the dock and their smartwatch as a miniature clock that they can place by their bedside or on their table while it charges. As you can see in the image above, the dock will prop up the watch with the face of the watch angled towards the user. Read full post →The Moduul Is A Classy Dock For The LG G Watch

ac power cordlargeProduct recalls are not exactly rare and few in between, although it would always be a whole lot better if the products that were introduced to the masses were to function just fine without any issues in the first place, and hence, not needing a single recall. cyanogenmod m6When a company like Cyanogen comes together alongside Nextbit, with both of them making a statement of intent by touting that they are working on something that is “really cool”, it would be best to remain on the edge of your seats since they do happen to have a pretty decent track record of keeping people happy, what with Cyanogen’s range of Android mods over the years. It seems as though Scott Croyle, who was once HTC’s SVP of Design, left the Taiwanese company to spend time working on a new project by joining up with Nextbit. Does this mean that the link up between Cyanogen and Nextbit would include working on a new smartphone, tablet, or even better yet – both?

twitch ddosIt looks like the group known as the Lizzard Squad, who were the ones that claimed responsibility for the attack on Sony’s PS4 network which was an effort to raise awareness on how Sony should focus more on security in their services with all the money that the company is making, is back again. This time around, it is not Sony’s recovered PS4 network that falls under the spotlight, but rather, it would be Amazon’s latest purchase that is affected – Twitch.tv.
