If there is one thing that I have learned from life, it would be this – records are meant to be broken. Well, the current generation of home consoles do seem to have a very clear winner this time around, and it hails from the Sony camp. We are referring to the Sony PS4, although it has the Xbox One following it closely at one point in time, it has certainly pulled away like the thoroughbred that it is. In fact, a new milestone has been achieved today, where the Sony PS4 has managed to sell over 20.2 million units around the world as of March 1, 2015. This milestone reverberates the fact that Sony is experiencing the fastest and strongest growth in PlayStation hardware history to date.
Any software developer worth their salt would definitely find it to be their advantage to introduce updates to existing software from time to time, to say the least. This will not only ensure that the end users end up with something that is current, they would also be able to obtain the best features and keep up with the times. Well, what about legacy versions? Surely support would need to stop at some point in time, and that happens to be the case with Chrome for older versions of Android, as Google has decided to stop issuing updates already.
