This is because by using smaller seats, it could potentially allow airline companies to offer up more seats in their planes, thus making more money per trip than they used to. Remote controlled toys are fun, but if you were looking for an all-in-one solution, which is to say you want a vehicle that can run on land, hover in the air, and float on water, toy-maker Tomy might have something for you in the form of the 水陸空, which when translated roughly means “amphibious sky”.
Basically this toy is a quadrotor that has the ability to fly and hover in the air. That is the base of the design, but to take things even further, Tomy has added a bunch of wheels that will allow it to run on land as well.
