The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 tablets from Samsung were released in the United States at the start of May for $229.99 and $299.99 respectively, since these are mid-range tablets they weren’t that expensive to begin with but now they’ve had a price cut which means they’re a much more compelling option for people in the market for a cheap tablet. The price cut has been applied on these tablets merely two months after they were launched in the United States.

In fact according to a recent interview with VG247, Sony exec Jim Ryan reveals that Sony is dominating the European market.

Dominating in what way, you ask? According to Ryan, the numbers he revealed is boasting a market share of anywhere between 70-90%, and sometimes even higher. “Well, we have market leadership in every country in Europe, and have very significant market leadership in continental Europe. However it seems that Bethesda is slowly starting to introducing content from Fallout 4 into the game. The company has announced on its blog that starting from today, you will have the chance of stumbling across Legendary Dweller Preston Garvey.

For those unfamiliar with Preston Garvey, he’s a character that will be making an appearance in Fallout 4 and is part of the in-game faction the Commonwealth Minutemen, and best of all he will also come equipped with a seemingly strong weapon in the form of the Laser Musket which should come in handy if you decide to send him out for exploration. Then there are games like Minecraft whose creators probably did not envision it would be seeing the cult following and blockbuster success that it is seeing. In fact according to Mojang’s Daniel Kaplan, it seems that the PC version of the game has sold 20 million copies to date.

Kaplan announced this on Twitter in which he wrote, “20 million copies of Minecraft PC sold. Thst [sic] is crazy. Thanks everyone for supporting us <3 and thanks for stickning with us for so long!” That’s pretty impressive especially when you consider that it was only last year that they were sitting on 15 million copies sold, so 5 million copies in a year is very good!
