meizu mx4Well, well, after seeing results of its benchmark leaked out prior to today, as well as the back part of the handset get caught in the wild, here we are with China-based Meizu having officially rolled out the Meizu MX4 smartphone. This particular model will not offer a wee increment in performance and capabilities, but rather, it will deliver an improvement by leaps and bounds, starting with its 5.36″ IPS display that has 1152 x 1920 resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Back in August 2012 Ouya emerged on the scene. This startup wanted to create an Android gaming console of the same name. The project got a lot of traction on Kickstarter and its campaign ended up raising over $8 million. The console ultimately came out and Ouya even decided to try its luck by diversifying through a move into software. Its no secret though that things haven’t gone exactly as planned. Ouya is now reportedly in talks for an acquisition, Chinese companies are believed to be involved in discussions with it.

In fact, the middle of the trio, the Samsung SM-A500, was also caught in a GFXBench benchmark database, which in turn enabled curious eyeballs to see what the possible or potential hardware specifications will arrive with the Samsung SM-A500.

The wait finally comes to an end for BlackBerry fans. When the company showed off its upcoming flagship earlier this year it said that the formal announcement will take place in September. At the time no concrete date for the event was given. Today though it has been confirmed via the official BlackBerry blogs that the event for the announcement of BlackBerry Passport has been scheduled for September 24th.

The wearable device trend has picked up a lot of stream this year and Google fanned the flames at I/O a few months back by unveiling a completely new platform that has been developed from the ground up for wearable devices. It is called Android Wear. Many smartwatches powered by Android Wear have already hit the markets and others are bound to pour in soon. Google retains strict control over the software experience and has said that “several” updates are planned for the platform which will hopefully be released within 2014.

Well it turns out that the QX30 might not be the only device in the works as Sony Alpha Rumors have recently managed to get their hands on a bunch of photos of the Sony QX1 E-mount.

Now for those who are a little confused by the image above, the QX1 is different from the QX10 or the QX100 which comes with fixed lenses. The QX1 will offer up similar features, such as pairing with smartphones or tablets via Bluetooth, but the difference here is that it will act as an E-mount. The accessory, like we mentioned earlier, will pull double duty as both a pen and a stylus.
