Samsung today announced its next-generation Exynos 9 series processor which is most likely going to debut with the Galaxy S8 this year. The Exynos 9 Series 8895 is the first Samsung processor to take advantage of the company’s 10nm FinFET processor which allows for up to 27 percent higher performance while consuming 40 percent less power. It’s the same process that Samsung is building Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 on, and that chip is also going to debut with the Galaxy S8.

Two of the most highly anticipated smartphones of 2017 are going to be released over the coming weeks.
