It can sometimes take a couple of hours to even a few working days before the amount is successfully credited to the other person’s account, but it looks like MasterCard wants to speed things up.

The credit card company is looking into a new system called MasterCard Send. According to MasterCard’s description of this new feature, “MasterCard Send enables funds to be sent and received typically within seconds – far superior to existing solutions that either limit transfers within a closed-loop network or that involve ACH which can take several days for funds to be received.” Read full post →MasterCard Send Will Help Speed Up Money Transfers

lol justiceNo matter what kind of game you play, there is always a chance that you will encounter a troll within the game that will make your life miserable. Sometimes you might run into abusive players too who will fly off the handle at the slightest mistake and start making threats. This is the unfortunate reality of the online world we live in.

However the folks at Riot Games are hoping to curb such behavior in League of Legends. Considering that the MOBA is making a lot of money for the developers, we’re sure the last thing they want is for gamers to quit due to a few bad apples in the game, so much so that they have started to test out a new justice system in which will dole out swift punishment to players with bad behavior in as fast as 15 minutes of the game ending. Kinect-learning-game-780x439As we all know, the Microsoft Kinect technology can be used for gaming, even educational gaming, but is there really a huge difference between gaming on the Kinect and gaming on your mobile? Apart from the fact that both are different platforms, a recent study conducted by the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University found that gaming on the Kinect was more effective.

According to the study, the researchers found that giving children a Kinect and getting them to build block towers proved to be a more effective way of learning, as opposed to merely gaming on an equivalent screen-only experience. The children were given a tablet, a laptop, and real-world objects with a project screen and a Kinect for sensing purposes. Read full post →Kinect Educational Games Found To Be More Effective

toshiba-chromebook-cb30-007While Google’s Chromebooks aren’t exactly powerhouses or are feature-packed, they do have the advantage in the sense that they are generally more lightweight in terms of its operating system which in turn makes it faster and less complicated to use. It is also cheaper which is ideal for students who might need a laptop to surf the web and type up assignments.

This is why it does not come as a surprise to learn that a report from Gartner has revealed that the firm is estimating that sales of Chromebooks this year will rise to 7.5 million. This is an increase from 2014 in which Chromebook sales amounted to 5.7 million, so for it to rise an additional 1.8 million in 2015 is pretty impressive. htc-one-m9-live-5When it comes to smartphones, safe to say that Apple and Samsung usually produce handsets with the best cameras. Last year the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were found to have the best camera, although come 2015 it saw the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge usurp their position. While HTC might be able to compete in terms of industrial design, it seems that its camera department still needs a lot of reworking.

According to a recent review of the HTC One M9’s camera by DxOMark, it seems that the device found itself ranked 21st, thus putting it way behind the rest of the competition. It seems that despite being launched a year after the HTC One M8, HTC has not done much to improve its optics as the handset barely shows an improvement over its predecessor.
