Bang & Olufsen, in partnership with ADER ERROR, has introduced a distinctive collaboration, unveiling a limited-edition collection that merges fashion and music through a sleek portable speaker and complementary accessories. The collaboration showcases ADER ERROR‘s vision layered over Bang & Olufsen‘s, featuring the signature Z-blue color synonymous with the fashion brand.
Knowing B&O’s respect for art and reliance on brilliant designers for over a century, this is perhaps a hidden reference to the “Bleu Klein”(Blue Klein), invented and patented by controversial French artist Yves Klein in March 1960.
Titled ‘The Blueism”, the collection embodies a movement aimed at connecting communities through music and fashion in innovative ways. ADER ERROR explains the collaboration as a blend of the familiar with the unfamiliar, aiming to offer a fresh perspective on music and fashion.
Andra Gavrilescu, head of brand collaborations at Bang & Olufsen, highlights the collaboration as an example of the speaker’s ability to make a statement both aesthetically and acoustically. The collaboration introduces a speaker bag and stand designed by ADER ERROR, enhancing the portability and visual appeal of the Beosound A1.
The speaker bag, inspired by the Beosound A1’s form, combines soft cowhide leather with cotton filling, providing both protection and style. It features an adjustable shoulder strap for convenience and reflects the intersection of fashion, music, and technology.
The ADER ERROR speaker stand transforms the Beosound A1 into a visually striking piece of art, blending ADER’s design language with the speaker’s innovative spirit. Crafted from aluminum, the stand offers durability and portability, while its detachable parts ensure versatility in various environments.

The Beosound A1 itself boasts interesting audio specifications, including a 3.5-inch aluminum cone mid-woofer, a silk dome tweeter, and advanced DSP filtering, all meticulously tuned by Bang & Olufsen’s tonmeisters in Denmark. With 360-degree sound dispersion, up to 18 hours of playtime, and an IP67 waterproof rating, it delivers exceptional indoor and outdoor performance.
Availability and Price
To commemorate the collaboration, the Beosound A1 ADER ERROR Edition and accessories will debut at a pop-up event in Seoul on April 10, followed by global availability on April 11th.
The Beosound A1 ADER ERROR Edition with speaker stand is priced at $500, and the ADER ERROR speaker with bag pouch at $320. Both will be available in limited quantities online and in selected stores.
