Sanyo Works On Rain Water Purification System

The folks at Sanyo are fed up with how plenty of rain water go to waste in most residential areas, and they have come up with a new system that uses its original ozonation technology for purifying, sterilizing, and effectively utilizing rain water saved in a tank. The simple act of sprinkling purified/sterilized rainwater on various places such as a rooftop or on the outdoor units of showcases and air conditioners will help reduce heat penetration into a building, resulting in an increase of operating efficiency. This will ultimately help one save energy – nifty during the hot and sweltering summers, cutting down one’s expense where electricity is concerned at the same time. Currently, the Rain Water Purification/Sterilization System can be installed in the buildings of commercial facilities in Japan for field testing purposes, so hopefully it will yield favorable results to see action in residential homes in the near future.
