Samsung CF and SD rugged memory cards

Samsung knows that some of us do experience a rough and tumble lifestyle, which is why they just introduced a new line of rugged memory cards that will target the UK market. Both the CF plus and SD plus cards are waterproof, being able to remain 24 hours of submersion in sea water. Apart from that, you won’t mind dropping either a dozen times thanks to their shock-proof capability, and your data within will also remain safe as it is impervious to magnets 13 times more powerful than a magnet found in a typical home theater speaker. Even without a refresh, Samsung boasts that these cards are able to retain data for up to 10 years. The CF cards are capable of 45MBps read speeds, coming in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities. No word on pricing just yet.
