By now most of you already know everything about Google’s Nexus One phone, but it has also gone official today, so it’d be wrong of us not to mention it, right? It looks like the previously mentioned Jan 5th announcement was spot on, and the Nexus One is available from today off contract with T-Mobile for $529, shipping to the US, UK, Singapore and Hong Kong. If you want to get it cheaper, it’ll be $179 for a 2-year contract with T-Mobile USA. One thing that might come as a surprise to many is that the phone will also be headed to Verizon in the spring, and Vodafone will be getting the device soon as well. The phone sports the previously mentioned 1GB Snapdragon processor, 3.7-inch AMOLED display, GPS, compass, accelerometer, proximity sensor, 5-megapixel camera, 3.5mm headphone and multicolored LED under the trackball.
