Do you remember the truckbot that surfaces from time to time and recently got an acrylic body upgrade? Well, this little robot seems to be continuing its slow (but steady) progress towards becoming powerful enough to take over the world (and maybe enslave humans), and now it seems that it supports voice control, which takes advantage of Android’s native voice recognition engine, allowing the robot to be controlled via speech commands. To make the deal sweeter, only a single line of code was needed to take advantage of the functionality, and the phone will listen for speech and ask you to repeat if it can’t understand the directions. What next? Laser canons?
