It was previously speculated that Amazon could be planning on getting in on the gaming business and now it seems that the company has taken a significant step forward in that direction. Word is out that the online retailing giant has snagged Microsoft’s director of game platform strategy, Andre Vrignaud. Such a move is definitely good news for Amazon as Vrignaud has been in the game industry for over 20 years and has been at Microsoft since 2002. Perhaps this has something to do with the “stealth project” that Amazon was working on a while back. How do you think Amazon will be able to get involved in the gaming scene?
