The latest Xbox update for September brings some cool stuff. Microsoft just spilled the beans on what’s coming, and it looks like this one is a big deal.

First off, you can now stream your Xbox gameplay right to your friends on Discord — Once you link your Discord and Xbox accounts, the process should be easy; Just hit the “Stream Your Game” button, and you’re good to go. This is a great thing for those who enjoy some Social gaming.

Speaking of social, you can now ask to join your friends on Xbox. If they’re up for it, they can send you an invite to join their party, game, or chat — after all, it’s all about playing together!

For the tech-savvy folks, there’s something called Variable Refresh Rate (VRR); This makes the TV or monitor adjust its refresh rate based on what’s happening on the screen, which means a smoother gaming experience, and the possibility to control when it kicks in from the TV & Display Options menu:

Microsoft is also giving Rewards some love. They’ve added a “My Rewards” tab when you press the Xbox button, so you can quickly hop to the Redeem Rewards page.

And apparently, they didn’t forget the little things because now not only you’ll get notifications when something on your Wish List is on sale, but also have a better voice chat reporting system, and smoother pairing for all of your accessories.

While we still have no exact release date yet, Microsoft says the update is on its way soon so, get ready for some gaming goodness!
